Mick says: "Hi James, I prefer the feel of rosewood over lacquered maple for fingerboards. I love the sound of both. The more gloss they take off the fingerboard, the more I like it, just because I find it easier to play. Really do love the sound of maple necks/boards on Strats and Teles though."
