I used a flat iron set at 380-400 degrees to straighten my crochet braids. I also used scissors to clip ends and remove tangles. It took me an hour to re-straighten ...
+Prisca Botchway No. I just simply used my fingers to separate the hair and to take out any tangles before flat ironing this hair. This hair is a coarser than other hair, so it will take some time to separate. When I first flat ironed the hair, I had to run the flat iron through several times before it got to that level of straightness that I wanted to achieve. The less hair you straighten, the better the results will be. It can be somewhat time consuming, but I think it is worth it!
+Sha'Tera Wilcoxson I am not sure. I think it is the fiber and texture of the hair. I have tried to straighten other marley hair and the other hair melted in the flat iron. This hair is kanekalon, but it feels and looks different from the other hair.
+Mosaic cc You can use a flat iron to straighten certain Marley Hair. It cane be time consuming, but I think it is worth it. Make sure you test the marley hair before trying to straighten it. All marley hair is not the same.
+Wendy Alston I think the hair looks better in person. This brand of hair resembles my own natural hair texture that's why I continue to use it for different hair styles.I was not looking for bone straight or silky smooth hair because my own natural hair is neither.

+MsMackintwenty4seven yes I have heard that. You can soak it in water and apple cider vinegar to remove the coating on the hair. There may be some info online on the mixture measurements but that's what helps!!!
How long did you keeps these flat twist in? How did you take care of your
hair? Did you wash your hair while you had the Marley hair in? Sorry for
all the questions. I am thinking of doing it myself in the next few weeks.
I don't mind the questions at all! I typically keep them for 4 weeks or so. I use a spray bottle mixed with water, leave in conditioner and oil. I straits and rub the mixture in and wrap my edges with a satin scarf. I didn't wash my hair but you can do ACV treatment for your scalp for any product build up. Hope that helps!

The curls were locked in!!! I'm sure they would have lasted at least a week but I couldn't get over The straggly ends so I ended up flat ironing and rolling again with big sponge rollers. I love it now!!!
I got them from Imperial Beauty Supply but they are a very popular brand. They cost me about $35.00.
