+///AMG Thanks for watching, the sheet metal is really flat sheets used for building duct work, most plumbing shops likely carry it, they also bent it for me after I told them dimensions
how is your sheetmetal top holding up? I have some - and was planning on
using it on the rear wall, but now I may use it for the top. Just
curious... nice bench! gave you thumbs up too!

I think your videos r good n I subscribed to your channel. It would be
great to have you aboard with the other great woodworkers I have
subscribed to my channel. Thank u :)
+TJ'S WOODWORKING SHOP Thank you and thanks for subscribing. I've been out of the loop for about 5 months, recovering from a triple bypass. As the weather warms up, I'll be back out in the shop, hopefully rebuilding one side of the shop. It may be an all summer project. Regards, Briz
Do you have a video on how you made that tapering jig? I subscribed and
couldnt find it in a video search.maybe I over looked? If not u shld make a
video on that.goid luck wth surgery. Knee surgery sucks!
Some of Harbor freights stuff is good and some of the stuff I wouldn't touch a lot of it is overpriced nd junk as far as their power toolsmy uncle buys tools there thts how I know what to get and not to get..lol the only things I get from there are there clamps. not the quick release, but the bar clamps and toggle clamps oh and my dust collector as well as my disc and belt sander combo that works pretty well I had a coupon for it for $49.99 so for the money it definitely works and serves its purpose
+Ron Briz thank you sir! I appreciate that. Ive been wanting to find a use for theae toggle clamps I bought from h.f. months ago at their "parking lot sale"..now I do!:)
Here you go. This one is similar to the one I built. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CO3bBNv6tc I just glued an extra board at the bottom to make it a cross cut fixture as well. Hope this helps you out.
Hi Joe, I do not have a build on the tapering jig. One of the channels I subscribe to does have a video. I'll go look up the link and post another reply. Thanks for watching.
+Matthew Cremona Thanks Matt. It's a tip that I got from the Wood Smith TV show. I've completed the drawer last night, but with my surgery tomorrow, and some running around today to get prepared, I doubt if I get to mounting the hardware, editing, etc. Oh the suspense! Congrats on the future family addition! And thanks for watching.
Thanks J.D. If this one drawer works out, I'll be building several more shallow drawers for the hardware. They'll be located near the top.
Workbench Chest Of Drawers
A better look at the chest of drawers I made to fit under my workbench. My other channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/IBuildItHome Detailed build article for ...
Sorry, I've been working to fix this - there is no malware on my site. This was triggered by an ad service and is totally bogus. I have removed all of the ads from the other service from my site and that should lift the warning.
Very nice John. Keep up the great videos. I hope you enjoy making them as
much as we enjoy watching. It is like having a great neighbor that you see
every week and when you don't see them, you miss them. Time to make the
drawers but Google has red flags all over IBUILDIT.CA for malware. Any
idea why?
+John HeiszThanks, John. I have been on the site numerous times and have never gotten a warning from any of my security tools so Google really surprised me. If we could take the individuals and the companies who engage in malicious hacking and the installation of programs you do not want (hear this Adobe and Google!) and remove them from the gene pool, life would be more simple!

Not only is OSB cheap, it's strong. Not only is it strong, it's flat. Not only is it flat, it's fairly easy to work with. Not only is it easy to work with, it's commonly available.Did I mention it's cheap? It's also environmentally friendly, made mainly from young aspen trees, which are fast growing and not much good for anything else.
I know your website is in the title of every video. But if you link it in
the description of every video you will climb higher in google results when
people search.
The more links that you have in the world pushing people back to your site,
the more Bing and google think that info is relevant.
Hope it helps
I am thinking of making a "drawer" for my table saw so I can store it in my
bench and pull it out and use it right there without moving/unplugging it.
couple questions:
The pull looks about perfect, what length/spes are the slides you used?
do you think they would be strong enough/stable enough to have a small
table saw (its a harbor freight unit) used in them open? Maybe use 2 per
side?
Also they look a bit tight to open/close, any idea whats going on there?
Thanks, I enjoyed your video! :^)
+Tappar I think about 60 cm but these are server racks which I recycled. I would probably add some along the bottom too for a table saw. They are probably a bit tight but they were used and not in great condition when I found them.
Those will definitely come in handy for storage. One very shallow drawer at
the top would be good for rulers, markers and other easy to get to small
tools.
I love the minor catastrophe that happened in the fourth minute - I'm sure
this happens in every workshop but few have the audacity to share it in a
video. ;-)
Drawer runners are becoming the bane of my working life, as the company I
work for recently bought 100 pairs 'for stock'!
Hahaha, I love that! I didn't take a lot of notice before I read your comment. Maybe you should've made it slightly longer? But then, I haven't played an FPS in years... And I wasn't as good at them as I am at watching videos!
