Ambulance siren - London Ambulance stuck in traffic
Ambulance siren, and lights, used by a London Ambulance Service Emergency Ambulance Mercedes Sprinter on an emergency transport to hospital through ...
+Badger emergency responses There was no point in using bullhorn really - the traffic was jammed all over central London that day, it wasn't as if people were getting in the way unnecessarily. They only use bullhorns for 'not entirely with it' people in London. Yeah luckily the hospital is near (you can see the end of it in the video)
+Greater Toronto Area Emergency Videography There was no point in using bullhorn really - the traffic was jammed all over central London that day, it wasn't as if people were getting in the way unnecessarily. They only use bullhorns for 'not entirely with it' people in London. Also they were carrying a patient.
+LucianVideoEEV You haven't seen it. At times in London the traffic is so horrendous emergency vehicles purposely go out of there way to avoid the whole of Westminster or other central areas.
London ambulance units x2 stuck in traffic on route to emer
These were the 2 units I filmed in the other video. I walked round the corner from leicester square station and they were there. There was a ridiculous amount of ...
@TubeMemberLogin Hi, the FRU has a static blue light which is called a
burner light, it's purpose is to be on continuously whilst reponding on
blue lights so that when a speed camera is activated the photo will show
the blue burner light which means the FRU is on a job, exemption from speed
limit can be claimed and driver does not get penalty point.
as an ex London ambulance EMT I can tell you... its that busy that there
aint no time to wash ambulances... even on shift change calls are being
sent to you as you and the shift coming off are trying to swap your stuff
and restock the ambulance, people just need to get over the small stuff and
be glad we dealt with the big stuff!
@TheDirector17 Why you ask me? well the main reason is if i was a driver
who was up ahead and i seen an ambulance stationary with lights just on i
wouldn't move mainly because i would think that it had arrived at its
destination and i don't have to move anymore...pretty simple don't ya
think.
the ambulance did not turn the siren on because it knew that the traffic
infront could not move and they are not allowed to go through a red light
so the ambulance turned of the siren because there is no point leaving it
on because there is nothing the traffic could do at that moment in time
@callofpaul Why? UK Emergency drivers are actually trained to switch off
their sirens when stuck in situations like these because the traffic can't
go anywhere and all the siren does it frustrate the other drivers and raise
the crew's stress level.
@callofpaul That's the whole point though - they put the sirens off to stop
drivers from doing anything stupid when there's nowhere for them to go (red
light and busy traffic, for example). I've seen a few training videos on
YouTube to this effect
ambuilences shud push veicles out of the way because its an emergency
someone might be dieing in the ambuilence and if they die before they reech
the hospital the doctors would say hes dead because there was to much
trafic
@callofpaul if you can't make progress, if there's nowhere for the other
traffic to go, the sirens go off. You don't want to panic someone into
doing something stupid and having an accident.
@dan999uk when an FRU has been dispatched the call has been categorised as
life threatening. Chances are much higher that this call was serious and
required an emergency response.
probly dont have time to clean it, finnish one call and straight on to the
next, they should employ people to wash them, and have a courtsey ambulance
for the mean time, lol
outstanding restraint showed by the crews, probably both dispatched on a
very serious emergency call but keeping avery cool head when traffic cannot
kove for them
Fuck bus lanes, they should build emergencey vehicle lanes and display 'no
stopping at any time'. Seriosly someone can die within the time it took for
that.
These hatzoloh ambulances are the worst when it comes to noise; they are
annoying and even more so are the ones in the unmarked cars who race up and
down the street with their extra loud ass sirens for no reason at all.
+DanTheMan HAHA! I LOVE THIS ONE! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
[WAIL SIREN] Ambulanze in emergenza nel traffico- 2x Ambulance stuck in traffic
Genova: due ambulanze in emergenza si fanno largo nel traffico all'ora di punta. 2x Ambulance responding code3 ( stuck in traffic). **Like and subrscribe :-)
Section 1144 of the NY state vehicle and traffic law states that when
approached from the front or rear by an emergency vehicle whose Red light
and siren are activated, the driver of every other vehicle MUST yield the
right of way. You must stop and remain stopped until the emergency vehicle
or vehicles have passed. NY State Law, people can be so stupid. Anyone who
purposely doesn't move for an emergency vehicle doesn't deserve our help.
Just remember next time it could be your life on the line.
is that what you think? you must be new to driving. the proof is the driver
himself reporting you and the video if they need it. and yes they can
ticket you no matter who the driver is. ever see those lights flash and
take someones picture when they run a red light? they dont take a picture
of the driver, lolx. they just ticket the registered owner of the vehicle
so yes they can do that. and they arent requesting you move they are
demanding it = red lights
Nice looking ambulance but a few questions:
1. Why did the Hiace not budge at all?
2. Why didn't any of the cars budge at all?
3. Why didn't the ambulance use his horn or be more aggressive? (Probably
not a super urgent call as you said...)
+mlps93 If I were the driver of the Hiace I'd probably at least tailgate the guy in front and honk my horn or something. But then, that's just me... :P
+gimboyblue1990 There was a red light camera, and in this situation, there seems to be little space to give way...but they don't try lolMost times drivers will give way if there is space, and also if they are a bit more aggressive on the siren
