A couple of things have happened the last couple of days. I went hiking. It was very...hiking-y. Stay awesome and don't forget to eat your fruit. Facebook page: ...
OK, we'll probably do it over a weekend. We are planning on this one to make sure everything we have is good to go for the Knobstone, I think we are looking at making the Knobstone a 4 day hike instead of pushing it in 3 days.
+ccolbert4 I've got a camelbak I'll fill up before going, then when we camp I'll just filter some water from the lake, should be good. You're welcome to go with us when we do it.
Yeah i think you are right 18-23 or something like that, I have read that the water sources dry up in the summer and you have to place cache's along the way.
That's the first one we are planning on doing this year! We haven't decided on a date yet for it. We plan on going about half way and then camping, then finishing it up the next day. It's around 18 miles if I remember correctly.
Will do, I am always up for a buddy hike, most of mine (as you can tell) have been solo lol. I almost have most of the trails in the 3-10 mile range of the Hoosier National Forest done, the only exception is the two lakes trail by Celina lake
I've got a list of trails, the adventure hiking trail is on my list too. I'm going to be going with a friend from my church, if you ever need a partner let me know!
The Knobstone is on my list for this year, as is the Adventure Hiking Trail. I am thinking sometime late spring early summer for one of them at least. Thanks for watching
What? I log in to watch your video for you to tell me you're NOT doing all
24 miles? If the CCC makes it, you hike it ALL brother! Besides, if it's
90% up and down, that's my kind of trail. "Shape of a bell". I'm still
laughing about that one. Keep up the good work!
Lol Doc wasn't doing it that day coming back in spring to do it all. May have friends with me then too.
