I've been using RUDY'S BARBEQUE meat rub with a honey barbeque sauce with
a pinch of sugar of my own on the Pork shoulder ,Kielbasa, and Corned
Beef for quite a few years as well as a good oak to burn it under , and I'm
telling you, the rub with the sauce combined, it's the bomb, it's just so
good. It reminds me of ,just this side of heaven, listening to some loud
ZZTOP and drinking a freezing cold brew. oh, buy the way don't gomp it
down , chew it up real slow...........yea ! I'll be getting ready to order
some more meat rub from ya, here shortly cause I'm starting to run low

You have no idea how long I've waited for you guys to ship your products!
My husband worked in San Antonio for several months about 7 years ago. His
eye caught the sign that said "worst bbq in Texas" and HAD to turn around
to try it! The rest is history. He flew me to Texas while he was working
there so I could taste the brisket and then several years later, we took
some friends to San Antonio. . .just to eat Rudy's brisket! (We live in
Virginia). Cannot wait for my first order to come in!
Dear Mr. Creed, I absolutely LOVE Rudy's BBQ and specifically the brisket.
But it baffles me as a consumer as to why you would present your product as
being "fat". The host says "fat" 7 times during the production of this
video about a product you want us to buy. I FULLY understand calling it
like it is. It's "fat". I understand that completely and have no problem
with that personally. I like the taste of brisket "fat". But on a brisket
it's much more appealing to call it "marbling".
Wow they really throw away the brisket parts? At Bill millers they leave
the trimmings in a big bucket for the morining storage man to bring it to
the commissary and they use those trimmings in their chop BBQ sandwhiches.
Rudys what a waste !
Best beef brisket I've ever tasted. I went to Rudy's in or near Houston,
Texas. I'm from California, I wish there was something that I could compare
it to, but nothing comes close.
so fn hot the meat i love it my dog and cat would love the fat i also a new
smoker guy in tx so i know its great i want to visit this place i look if i
live by it in carolton
@StuPadazzo it's an instructional video showing you where to cut the fat
off... you wouldn't want to cut off marbling... Rudy's term for "marbled"
brisket is "moist." ;)
Damn, I miss cutting for Rudy's. There's always a tiny satisfaction every
time you hit a perfect weight on that scale. :D That dude, AJ, was pretty
cool too!
Austin is most certainly a town gone BBQ mad. Some local grill masters like Aaron Franklin have evolved to the point where they are on a first-name basis with ...
Rob, I have been a fan and follower of you for the last seven years, and I
always go by your recommendations. Please find a new intro sound. The music
does not fit your quality. Find something more upbeat and Texan! I'm sure
Sgt. Sam would agree. And by the way, Iive in Beaumont and I faithfully
follow you and visit where you comment on each time I'm in Austin. If it
wasn't for you, I would eat fast food on each visit.
