Un plan ne suffit pas, il faut de l'outillage et des machines pour le réaliser.Maintenant si Fanatec s'intéresse à mon Shifter que ces gens là me contactent, je suis ouvert à tout. Le travail en série ce n'est pas mon truc, développer un nouveau produit oui.

+MrAlexandros99i found the problem, can i use another button to clutch, my H shifters other stick don't work and i havent clutch pedal, i have a Manta Compressor Supreme 2 wheel, and dont have clutch :(

Having problem mapping the buttons. So Xpadder recognize the position the shifter is in and i've registered a specific key to be pressed when its in that position. The problem i'm running into is it refuse to work on Grid 2 and The Crew.

i havent played those games so it might be game specific.Make sure they support keys to be pressed for shifter and not an actual shifter which some games are limited to.

Very nice I am making the same shifter as well I just need some strong plastic as the wood I have no good lol. Could I ask you some question about your build? What how space is there in between the rose joint/rod end to the H gate? and would you be able to send a template measurements of your H gate as it looks good :D Thank you.

A lot of time and effort was put into it. Sim racing is a hobby that many of us put a lot into because when you do it right you get a lot of enjoyment out of it (not to mention the good feeling that comes just from creating something yourself). It is then very annoying when somebody comes along and makes such an ignorant remark just because they don't know anything about it, a feeling that can apply to any hobby a person might have.

Hello, really really great job man! Great engineering but one thing is missing my mind. How it's done that stick stays at certain gear when every move is encountered with tension of the springs. E.g you put in 3rd gear and you are pushing against the spring and then when gear is in stick stays there and it isn't pushed back in N by the tension of the spring? Thank you for your reply ;)

i dont know why people keep asking those kind of questions...you can see EVERYTHING in the video...its not getting better by telling you that the bolt you see in the video is ...uhhmm A BOLT. for 2 cents ... i dont get it. anyway VERY nice shifter. i love it ! :D you took your time over this one i suppose :)

I was almost done designing a new shifter on Cinema 4D, a simpler one but very real feel and full metal body and mechanism, however watching this is just discouraging. Fuck.

buenisima capo, muy buena.....una consulta de diseño =P, la pieza que le hiciste o le pusiste donde caminan los rulemanes..... la hiciste o es parte de algo, muy interesante... yo la hice va algo parecido, pero en vez de rulemanes y esa pieza, era una arandela grande con dos muescas y en la base una grapodina con resorte

Cuando la palanca se inclina hacia los lados, el muelle se comprime. Si no hay un punto de anclaje al moverla hacia los lados, pues por la fuerza del muelle la palanca va sola al centro.

La palanca se queda trabada, por el diseño de la pieza con las ondulaciones y la fuerza del muelle. El metal es aluminio y la pieza blanca es plástico de una tabla de cortar de cocina.

el resorte hace ese trabajo, el eje esta diseñado para ese fin con la accion del resorte, siguiendo este bn diseño hice uno para mi y funciona genial

nice i like it but 1 question now the stick will stay in place but how your are going to program whice hole what gear is now its just a simple piece of wood and holes in it to keep the gear in place

How do you actually made those ? In your previous video you use a mouse in your steering wheel but here you use a smart phone app right ? Which is better in your opinion ? And the H shifter, what is it made from ? The pedal is quite funny but still nice work man ! Such creativity !

+Kryptonite I certainly prefer the one that uses a mouse, since the smartphone app has a short delay in it. I made the H-Shifter using parts of generic controllers (those that cost 10 bucks). I actually created another version of the pedals, which this time is made of wood and controller parts (so it measures pressure), but I haven't had have time to record it yet.
