Rory McIlroy's long drives in the final round of 2014 Bridgestone
En route to victory at the 2014 World Golf Championship - Bridgestone Invitational, Rory McIlroy hit some long drives in the final round at Firestone Country Club.
+Thaddeus Mccarthy in fairness there were a number championships where a number of great players were at the top of the leaderboard.. Muirfield 1980 being an example....with regards to Norman playing his absolute best suppose that depends on the circumstances of the tournament he was playing in...the 63 at Turnberry in 1986 was perfection and he won that tournament easily. He should have won more than two majors most certainly.. maybe 5 or 6....
At the 93' British Open you had all these great players right, playing at the top of their games. Faldo and Norman among them. This was also the only major tournament where the great Greg Norman played at his absolute best. His final round 64 was the greatest final round in Major history.
+Thaddeus Mccarthy your reasoning being ? I would have though Turnberry 1977 was the greatest major ever played
Final round of Meijer LPGA Classic underway
Fans have flocked to Blythefield Country Club in Belmont to watch the ladies golf.

+gobillygook I'm indifferent towards Scott as well. His swing is textbook, which I take to mean whatever natural movements he had when he first started are gone. It's a good swing, there's just no personality. Even through his many swing changes, there's always an element of Tiger in his swing. Tom Watson, Jack, Arnie, Fowler, Donald, Bradley, Dufner, Phil, Rory, they all have elements of themselves in their swings that remain after years of coaching. I like to see at least some of the player in their swing. Adam Scott has none. Bubba is ALL personality in his swing, which is why he's my favourite golfer.
+Ben Blackshaw Oh i'm sorry you've read my opinion and you obviously care from how much you're disagreeing and trying to change my mind. Worry about your own fatty.
+VoidOfEnigmas You definitely seem like the kind of guy to tell a 12 year old kid to piss off, not Scott. You're probably making shit up. Go back to your basement
+VoidOfEnigmas So be happy he's not in your life. The kid's probably long since over it, so why aren't you? The next time they're talking about how great his swing is, smile knowing that there is exactly zero Adam Scott in that swing. It is so contrived and mechanical that there's no soul in it. That's why people love guys like Bubba and Jim Furyk. As awkward as they look, they own those swings. Adam Scott bought his.
