i don't give a shit what anyone on here says, a gn is a muscle car. argue all you want, but unless you're packing something in the garage that can run at least low 12's, chances are a stock gn would make you it's bitch. McLarenMercedes : shutup, seriously. america didn't stop making muscle cars in the 60's. wake up. they also produced muscle cars that never had big blocks. anyone remember the turboZ or mustang svo?

However, i agree with you, American muscle should be big cubes and a boat load of power, but GNX owners at least have the decency to not buy a little piece of Jap-crap and turn it into a ricer. furthermore, it's a buick with a turbo, and in the last case, twins that make over 1k of ponies.

As a GN-owner I have a real problem finding anything with these cars that should not classify them as american muscle-cars. It's faster than my '69 GTX Hemi, and neither my former '71 Challenger, '73 Torino or '96 Corvette Gran Sport could outrun this one. It may be two cylinders less, but it has the sound and the feel - yep, it's muscle.

One of the greatest musclecars ever? Sorry but real musclecars don't use turbos.Musclecars are all about normally aspirated engines of huge displacement.Besided the 60's musclecars look awesome,this boxy 80's car was probably dull looking in the 80's.Only 6 cyl worth of owning?Ignorant fool...

American muscle should be big cubes and a boat load of power? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the GN would be classified as a big cube, and has a whole lotta power. I fail to see how it doesn't meet either of those standards.
