Port Authority DD50 to Cummins Overhaul #5330
Port Authority of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA has re-powered a number of Gillig Advantages from Detroit Diesel Series 50 to Cummins ISL. This is one of ...
Also, I'm guessing that PAT has seen enough of these buses being
environmental unfriendly with those Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine as
compared to Cummins ISL engines where they much better than their
predecessor. Just like SEPTA's 2003-2004 New Flyers, they run much better
after using a retrofitted engine there.
Nice catch of it. I wonder what if that rebuilted Cummins ISL engine is the
EPA 2007 model because I compared the overhauled engine with SEPTA's in
which SEPTA's overhauled Cummins engine used on 2003-2004 engine are EPA
2004 model. The Gillig in this video also has a new exhaust there as well.
@Jayayess1190 SEPTA's 2003 New Flyers with the EPA 2004 Cummins ISL engine
are the loudest compare to this. Is it the engine itself that retrofit in
the bus that makes it more louder as we originally use to hear its Detroit
Diesel engine formally in it?
Anyways, they are not as loudest as SEPTA's 2003 New Flyer D40LF because
their retrofitted engines are 2007 EPA Cummins ISL while SEPTA's D40LF have
2004 EPA engine which makes them the loudest bus in SEPTA's fleet.

AWESOME! Old Otis Traction Freight Elevator at the Frick Building
Now this is a day to remember! This is an old Otis manually controlled freight elevator in the Frick Building! I found this opened on floor 15 i think. And it also has ...
Stop dedicating elevators to PAelevators! He rides them with permission,
and building managers are going to think that he told you to ride them
without permission, giving him a bad rap. Do NOT OPERATE MANUALLY
CONTROLLED ELEVATORS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! You didn't even
have the courtesy to return the elevator to the floor you found it on!
