Arrested For Drinking Tea, The Prison Industrial Complex Expanding - HD
A recent YouTube video captured an overzealous security guard accusing a 24-year-old man of drinking alcohol in the parking lot of a liquor store, and then ...
Do you consider yourself a creditable news source or just trying to fill
your time on here? As a reporter, you have no clue about the correct
questions or background to have follow up questions. Did you even look into
NC laws or is this just how you think it should be? Let's hit some key
points that as a reporter, you should have known. 1. Not an "overzealous
security guard" as your narrative states, but an actual police officer and
ALE agent.(Alcohol Enforcement if you need it translated).
27. Even if he had been a security guard hired by the establishment, what
he says in absence of an owner holds true. If he says leave, you leave. 28.
With phrases such as "power trip", are you there to report or incite a
problem? 29. You state throughout that he tried to arrest him for drinking
tea, but that is untrue. 30. Officer was never embarrassed because the
contents were never verified 31. Did he serve 7 or 5 yrs in the military?
You never ask, but 2 different things were said.
32. When you're talking about his video taping not being told to stop, you
can clearly see his badge on his right side that was shown earlier. 33. I
think the video is great showing he told him 3 times of everything It
looked just like a training video on what to do. 34. The amount of hits on
Youtube are due to saying he was arrested for drinking Arizona tea, but
that is not the case. 35. Please do me a favor and never call an officer
because you obviously see no good from them.
24. In your first interview it was stated it was a public place, but in
your second, you openly admit that it's state(government) owned. Which is
it? 25. You admit in the second interview now that he's a cop(since 1999
that you failed to mention) and not just a cop, but a specialty unit
cop(since 2003). This info is open source by the way. Obviously you're not
an investigative reporter. 26. Tino admitted badge was shown, and shows in
actual footage on his right side.
6. The parking lot is not public property as it is the parking lot of a
government entity, the ABC store. 7. Airport security is not about taking
4th Amendment right. It's about security of our people after what had
happened on 9/11. 8. He was not put on the ground for drinking tea, it was
because he was to leave the property 3 times and refused. 9. Yes, the
tripwires of no loitering or consuming alcohol on the premises is really
hard to read in today's world.
21. You reference the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, but never
mention the actual laws that he broke which are not as vague as your
examples. 22. you spoke of the importance of reporting, but never once
heard mention of being accountable for inaccurate reporting that was edited
and narrated to manipulate the public. 23. Tino admitted that the Arizona
tea was not purchased there, but you failed to catch that inconsistency
from your other interview.
10. I do not see the entrapment that you speak, you buy, you leave and a
law enforcement officer is there for the safety and security of it's
patron's 11. ABC stores do not sell, beer, wine, or any other nonalcoholic
drinks to include Arizona tea which you stated he just purchased there, so
get your story straight. 12. You stated the officer presumed that it was
alcohol and he is at fault, but you have presumed that it is tea, so where
are you right?
16. You are right that Tino did an excellent job showing that the officer
said everything 3 times without any compliance, he was told 3 times to let
him inspect the can and refused, told him 3 times to leave the property and
refused, told him 3 times to release his straightened arms for cuffing and
he refused. (lucky officer didn't break his arm). 17. Did you ask for the
unedited version without the overdub music that drowns some speech out?
36. The individual stereotyped himself doing what he did. Bottom line, you
don't know me, but I'll give you a free case of Arizona teas open. Overlook
the fact that you don't know me and it tastes like my urine, because you
can read the can. This was sloppy reporting at best and would love to know
if you ever step foot in the town to actually be a reporter, because I'm
sure you can't debate after seeing your reporting skills, lol.
2. He was not arrested for the Arizona tea, he was arrested for trespassing
and resisting arrest. 3. He stated who he was in the beginning and did show
his badge located on his right side. 4. FYI, it is very well known here
that the contents are usually spiked so they can openly drink and not look
as such from an outward appearance. 5. If he had complied and let the
officer see it, it would have ended, but he refused.
18. If another infraction of the law is committed, it is not overlooked,
it compounds. If one is found to be false, the rest do not go away. 19.
Your interview fell off the subject and into promoting his upcoming media.
Is this the part where he uses you for free publicity? 20. He was correct
that it was embarrassing and shouldn't happen. Do you think you might not
at stupid with a officer again?
13. Officer was never allowed to examine can which created and escalated
the situation to much higher charges so can became a mute point. 14.
Suspect says he saw it, yes, but was never able to smell it or even have it
touch his hand once. 15. You say absolutely that it would have been smelled
from a distance, but the truth is, gin when mixed does not smell and takes
a very large quantity to.
By the way "let me see the can" is different from "let me have the can".
The alleged officer did not attempt to snatch the can from him, he wanted
this man to put it in his hand and he did not. Let this be sorted out by
the court system. I really hope they push for civil damages.
There should be charges brought against the alleged officer though nothing
usually happens to them guilty or not. This should be a civil lawsuit. No
matter what certain individuals opinions are this should go in front of a
jury! His civil rights were definitely violated.
This is a disgrace the "officer" was way out of line and unprofessional.
You do not run up on some body in plain clothes and demand things. This
pathetic coward was just embarrassed and fell stupid nothing was found.
Such a loser!
