I love this place and always feel like it's a forgotten museum, it always feels like there's hardly anybody there. I actually like it a lot more then the one on the mall...the one on the mall always feels like complete chaos and is always crowded and loud. I just wish it didn't cost the 15 dollars to park.

I'm visiting this country and I just wonder which museum is better,the Steven F.Udvar hacy center or the national air museum in DC,can some body please tell me...........

Its true, this museum does have quite a bit of "Only surviving"s, including: Heinkel He 219 Dornier Do 335 Boeing 305 Nakajima J1N Gekko and a few others

To be honest, I prefer this to the one in D.C. because it is more about actually looking at planes than going to exhibits about them.

Thanks for the tour! I live 35 minutes away and have never been there, but saw a lot of it at the old Smithsonian.

Why are people happy? this makes me sad. NASAs funding was cut so they had to retire these craft, and now Astronauts have to hitch rides on Russian shuttles.
