Obscure RCA Licensed 45 RPM Decca Model #DP911 "The York" Record Player
It never ceases to amaze me the number of RCA licensed players still to be found out there! While Decca is not an obscure manufacturer, this is a relatively ...
very Cool..i used to take these apart and make a small guitar amp with the
tube part..Mr Santa played to the tune of Mr Sandman..LOVE IT.and never
heard that before ;:-)
There's just so many more oddball licensed RCA 45 players yet to be discovered out there! I keep searching! I can't keep 'em all but I enjoy bringing them back to life. The hunt is most important!
What a beauty! I love the two tone design of this one and that copper
coloured motor board as well. Nice choice of records too - especially the
third one, which I've never heard before!
Happy New Year!
It's a different color combo for sure. The last record, Mr Santa played to the tune of Mr Sandman, was a new listen to me as well. I picked that out of a pile of Christmas records I own. It's astounding to know just how many Christmas records have been recorded since the beginning of time. It's nice to find something new you haven't heard before! May the coming year be a happy, healthy & prosperous year for you & your family!
Thanx for checking out the video Colin. I look frequently at ur videos but don't often comment.

I was just 18 and in the pit crew of #27j Tom Virgo. What a great time in
life. Ivan seemed like an older driver but he was only 38. I can tell you
first hand that Ivan was the best driver I have ever seen at Stockton 99
Speedway. My god it's been over 30 years ago.
What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man my Friend IVAN BALDWIN . Avery
