2012 Nissan GTR Delivery
This is a video of a 2012 Nissan GTR being delivered to a dealership. The car was dropped off in a separate location, snuck onto the lot, and locked up in a ...
@bmwlover0809 My M3 out the door w/ taxes and registration was right around
$72K. The MSRP of a GTR is right around $97K and you will be lucky to pay
sticker price for one. You're looking at well over $100K with taxes and
registration assuming you pay sticker price. With that said I think you'll
agree that a $30K-$40K cost difference is pretty substantial. None of this
includes the cost difference in insurance or maintenance either.
@naperking There isn't a lot of incentive to have one in stock anyways.
This was shipped in for a customer and while that deal hasn't gone through
too many people call on it who aren't serious buyers. The Tsunami affected
production on parts and cars that are bigger money makers than the GTR.
Believe me, it's easier to sell an Altima than a GTR.
@foleygac wtf do u mean u cant afford a gtr? if u got the m3 fully loaded,
then u can afford a gtr, but if u got it with nothing in it you cant afford
it, so, did u get the m3 fully loaded? because if u get it fully loaded it
should come out to about 86 maybe 87k
@foleygac Wow, this is the first one being delivered to your Nissan
dealership that is part of a large auto group? They've been all around the
country at dealerships since January of 2011, though supply was
understandably interrupted because of the tsunami.
@MegaBlackberryuser No, I definitely did not buy this GTR. I work at a
Nissan dealership at a large auto group and this is the first 2012 GTR
being delivered to the lot. It already has buyers lining up. Just a sick
machine.
@ChrisVAnimations 2012 models come out in the late summer/early fall for
all manufacturers. My 2011 M3 for example was picked up in October 2010 and
was ordered on July 23rd.
@Navidr90 The GTR does not belong to me. It is a car we brought in at the
dealership I work for. Believe it or not but it took us about three months
to sell it.
@diddy150 I'm loving the M3. It's everything I expected and more. I didn't
buy a GTR because I wanted a drivers car that I control and I can't afford
a GTR.
