Lol. A term used in the modelling world all the time. To say I was amazed is an understatement. This is just so sad. Yet we find this everywhere. I see young graduates with poor control of the language. Graduates for god's sake. I am a recent graduate, when I speak to most of my colleagues I am told I am "forming" just because I speak it well. You can imagine he state of affairs. Speak English well and you become an exception to the general rule. So sad.

Exactly. Somebody here had the nerve to say I'm disrespecting my Nigerian heritage because I think it's important that Nigerians should learn proper English, but that's rubbish. If they can't speak in English, let them speak in their native tongue. And how can a pageant contestant not know the meaning of the word 'statistics'? (As in the human body, not maths!)

Dude, there's areason English is Nigeria's official language - there are at least 201 languages there, and don't get me started on the dialects! They need to find a way to communicate, hence the use of English. It's the same in Ghana and South Africa. Even here in the UK, not everybody speaks English due to multiculturalism, but we have to in order to understand each other. Frankly though, it's not the poor language skills of the contestants that bothers me, it's the fact that they don't understand similar pageant criteria; when they were asked about their statistics, they gave stupid answers.

+Ray SunshineDude, I know exactly what you mean. I live in London, and there are loads of native Brits who either can't speak standard English, or have really weird accents...or both. People often call me posh because I speak properly - weird. However, I have to say that the girl you are refering to made a mistake; she should have said "superbness", which is the correct adjective.

Btw the girl at 1:52 can actually knows English quite well. But her accent and nerves make it incomprehensible. She says "I want to bring out the best,superb in me. Because i do this as a career. You act like all these women were given an equal chance in education. I think if any of the women got an opportunity to learn English the right way, they would grab it with both hands. You can tell because some of them are nervous and embarassed when they speak. Not everybody had the right start in life.

I don't find them attractive, but many people do, most of them women. I don't think it's appropriate to tell people they are insane for finding obese woman, disabled people, congenital mutation or anorexic women attractive. +mars Cubed You have made me curious I really should watch one of the videos to see what you are on about. I subscribe to any channel that sparks my curiosity I don't block views that I don't like. I try to understand them or what drives them. I Think I have subscribed to as many different views from all factions from Alex jones to TYT CNN to RT.I cant seem to make my channel page show just my videos they don't give you the control that they used to with channel appearance.I could say that the BMI is just a statement of fashion. Its a current viewpoint of the preferred body style Its a clerical scale that can vary with the individual I remember sights of human wilfulness in denial of the flesh in the streets of India. the sardus would do terrible things to their bodies to the admiration of the people.What sort of restrictions can you put on a person that is intent on never opening their hand to let the nails grow right through their palm.All this is making me come across as promoting thin models when I really have great concern for the girls that try to fit the glass slipper .But I strongly believe that this punitive method is more damaging.The corset problem of the Victorian days that was actually killing women was not stopped by making corsets illegal  or fining corset makers .Social problems have social solutions, 

+Kevin Sullivan Fair enough that you want to check out opinions.. however consider that the thing about Molineux that particularly sickens me, is that he is very deceptive. ie, he used data for "rate of change of Govt size".. but presented as "size of Govt". It is just junk that feeds far right trolls.How would you feel if corps and ad agencies made money by getting kids to eat to excess.. not just like fast food, but so it led to eating disorders and mortality? There is a certain point.. which will be based on BMI (body mass index), to steer away from the most excessive forms of thinness.. That does not mean that there won't be thin models.. but it will mean that excessively thin will not be promoted as an ideal.

+mars Cubed I looked at my channel and it was not showing my video list but activities. I noticed I had subscribed to a Moleneux channel  and there must have been a reason. Perhaps I meant to look into something he was saying. I am open to all views but haven't had time to see his yet.the fasion industry is just trying to sell clothes they don't care what size the model is they give the public what it wants.Public taste and demand is all they are interested in.If they loose sales then they wont use thin girls.Many girls that just like to be slim  will have trouble getting work in any of the arts, film modelling TV etc.Worse than being under age is being thought to be too thin.Fingers point with loud whispers and sniggers everywhere you go.You look half starved you look poor etc.As if such meanness and official persecution is supposed to make them glom hamburgers and fries.To many of the girls keeping slim to make a lot of money is equivalent to the rigorous apprenticeship of a Jockey.
