Greetings Ester Romero from Paschar ( my internet user name meaning Vision
) , How much research does DyslexiaAdvantage.org have for those like myself
who are Mirror Sighted , I see all objects as if in a mirror , The medical
term is Strephosymbolia ( Meaning Twisted Symbols ) I see the word bill as
llid & pill as lliq / My computer screen is configured as a Mirror image in
order for me to read text with ease and faster .
+Stephen Waner Hi Stephen, Strephosymbolia is an old term for dyslexia. Mirror vision is not a common feature in classic dyslexia, but I have heard of some who describe this. Our friend Delos Smith (an economist) who has a great deal of mirror reversal perception. He is giving a talk on the Mirrored Side of Life at Child Mind Institute on March 1st (we hope it will be recorded). He also contributed to a dyslexia movie and played a musical piece backwards! The focus of our non-profit is on basics for awareness of the positive side of dyslexia, practical strength-based strategies for education, and support for dyslexic adults in the workplace.
Hello, Is there a way to get a copy of this video? I give presentations
for my non profit, Dyslexia Alliance, and I would love to add this 1 minute
presentation.
+Esther Romero Hi Esther - you can embed it on your page or play it on a computer that's connected to the internet. We're glad you like it. You can contact us through our email at DyslexicAdvantage.org too.
+Kathy DeGrenier Thanks for letting me know, Kathy - but it plays well on mine and others have heard it. What browser are you using - and was it desktop or mobile? I would love to troubleshoot this if people are having problems. Also happy to send you the video via email.
+Brandie Nance There shouldn't be any commercials. Was there another browser open?
