Marlin crawler shift bushing installation

The before and after of my shifter play on my 89 toyota supra. Bushings are marlin crawler urethane shift bushings. Can be found at marlincrawler.com.

I was doing some work on our HD Seat and Socket install page and revisited this video. I'd like to respond to 4af's comment regarding our "crawler" brand because the name sounds cool. Not sure if 4af realizes this but Marlin invented the term "Rock Crawling" in 1994 when he created a way to re-gear Toyota trucks 2 to 45 times slower than stock. Yes, 45 times slower, aka "crawling". Go to Marlin's website and click on the About Us link to read on the history of the Marlin Crawler and how Marlin came up with this now household term Rock Crawling.

@05450rrider Your CRX likely has a cable shifting setup with bushings at each end of the cable. The product Marlin offers is for shift levers that mount directly atop the transmission, which for most cases will be a rear wheel drive vehicle. Sorry!

Marlin must be laughing all the way to the bank watching thousands of teenie bopper boys purchasing his "crawler" brand bushings just because they have a cool sounding name.

I have the same problem with my 91 crx, Is there only one set of bushings for shifter?
