Two years ago, I gave a big tip to a bellman at the Royal Pacific. He told me that Universal spent over $93 million on a full-scale, robotic, able-to-run-after-you Kong & its accompanying ride vehicle technology. I know what's coming, and I'm still terrified to see King Kong pursue my unmanned expedition truck. And now I have to deal with the Carnictis (GROSS!), Terapusmordax, Arachno-claw, AND Vastatosaurus Rex, too?!!! Adult swap, anyone?

+kristina5747 I heard rumors about the first pursuing animatronic of its kind as well...But it seems like Kong is going to be the hero. Will he be pursing the creatures descending upon us? Ugh cant wait! This bestiary of monsters is going to be terrifying!

+Jared Johnson The simulated portion of the ride is 1:30 minutes long. The ride overall is 5:50 minutes long. I know almost everything there is to know about this ride because I have access to insider knowledge.

sometimes they will do a soft opening so they can test the ride with a flow of smaller crowds

+GHOST3648 Well, it's not opening in May, or at least it's not officially opening in May. The ride is set to open in the summer. Summer doesn't begin until June. Universal could be doing soft openings beforehand though.
