Let's all play together in the bright sunny weather, let's all go to Gullah Gullah island. Gullah Gullah! I adored your show. It was nice to have something on nick that celebrated black culture because I don't remember any other show on Nick that did so while intertwining positive childhood development. I loved you guys, and still do. It's so good to see you. God bless you and thanks for the happy childhood memories. Hope to find you on dvd.

she was born in Rochester NY, where I live. I wonder if she ever comes back to visit family. I got to see the set of Gullah Gullah Island while they were taping the Christmas episode in Oct 1997, but from up above, through a window. This show ran through 1999? I thought it ran through January 1998. ???

I'm so happy to here she's doing well. I was a big fan of Gullah Gullah Island growing up, and that was probably one of the shows that made me the person I am today. Well, of course my parents did, too, lol. I wish todays children could have the same quality shows I used to watch.
