Nissan Leaf Options, A 7 Passenger eNV-200 And More!
I took a suggestion from a subscriber and demonstrated how the Nissan Leaf's charge port cover works. I also go over the prices of some of the other options I ...
Enjoyed the video. Thanks. You know in a few years that charging light will
be "standard equipment". That's what happened to the Leaf. That way you'll
want to get the newer model. :) Really enjoyed the lights/music at the
end. Well done!
+Sarge Monday Thanks Sarge! That's good to know. I usually wait a couple of years after buying something that is brand new to the market but I could really use that van for work right now and the power train has already been proven. Still, you are right and I don't have the funds for such an expensive vehicle right now anyway.
+Ian Sampson Thanks for the kind words Ian. I have a feeling you will be seeing the 7 passenger van pretty soon. You'll probably get a chance to test drive one before me! lol
Thanks for the demo of the cover, James!
If you want to see a review of the e-NV 200, you can have a look at Ian
Sampsons channel. Very interesting...:-)
Yeah, I saw that review. He did a great job as usual and it made me want the van all the more. Unfortunately, I went to Nissan just the other day to look into reserving one and I was told that there does seem to be some kind of problem at the factory in Spain and that means Japan will not be seeing any e-NV200's for quite a while. There's not even any kind of loan or lease program available for it right now.
A Super Long 2014 (2015 U.S.) Nissan Leaf Review
I felt it was time for a more updated review of this amazing little car. Warning: This video is long!
+Chris Bates With the Bose sound system in it as well it would be quite good I would imagine. I don't have the Bose speaker package but the Leaf's sound quality is really good with just the standard speakers. Thank you for commenting Chris!
Haha. I totally agree with you on the global warming thing. I'm thinking of
getting a Leaf because it would save on fuel cost and would be cool to
have. Not because I think we're destroying the world with CO2.
+Jim Thompson LOL Yeah, this is the second time in two days I've regretted posting so starting now I will keep my opinions to myself. Well, I'll try harder at least. Take care Jim! :-)
+Jim Thompson I just told my wife what happened and she laughed at me so hard! I really am embarrassed of what I did. I erased my original comment. It is kind of funny though because I spent so much time writing the comment and then I sat there for a good five minutes after I finished writing the comment arguing with myself whether or not to publish it. I should have listened to myself better! LOL
+Jim Thompson Oops. My bad. I'm sorry. I saw Government funding and NASA in the same sentence and I went on the defensive. Well, I look the fool now don't I. Humble pie time.
+Iomhair Frisealach hundreds of published, peer-reviewed papers by climatologists, including government funded research by NASA climatologists and research centers, disagree. If you believe the science is settled and proven you haven't done your research. The scientific argument is ongoing and intense.
In the first episode of LEAFHacks, we take a quick tour of the Nissan LEAF to introduce its interior displays and controls. This will be helpful for new LEAF owners ...
I'm getting between 4 and 5 miles per KW. Looks like you're getting a lot
less, I was hoping for some tips on improving range as well as other
things. Will you're miles per kw be improving as the show progresses?
wow that's good, I haven't come close to 4.4, my average is around 3.1 I think. I wonder if the low rolling tyres are less grippy and more prone to losing grip in some circumstances?
I was getting 4.4 in the summer on the original tires. New tires brought it down to 4.2 (not as low rolling resistance apparently). The numbers I am getting in this video are from a fairly cold December with a lot of highway driving. Worst numbers I've had since I bought the car.I will have some tips on driving efficiently in a future episode (specifically my recommendations on when to and when not to use ECO & B mode), but I would say if you are getting between 4 and 5 you are probably doing as well as you can already.
