2002 Nissan Altima Auxiliary Audio Kit for Bose Sound System
I've been looking for a simple solution to add an auxiliary input jack to my existing stock Bose sound system in my 2002 Nissan Altima for some time now.
I have an 03 Altima without the 8 pin connector, are there any other cables
or perhaps a connector converter I can use? Can I take out my connector and
replace it with another? Anything at all please, I would love to not have
to use an FM transmitter
+Dominic Casas Go ahead and read the reply under Smurfidy at the bottom of the page for other options to add an aux input jack to your Nissan Altima Bose Stereo. Thanks
+Dominic Casas +DIY Guy I have done a bit of research and have not been able to find any other way to connect an aux chord, even when I went into best buy and asked them. I was ready to buy a Mpow Streambot Y Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter until i saw ur video and figured I'd ask you if you know of any other way.
+Dominic Casas If you have a 2003 Nissan Altima model and the head unit looks like the one here in the video, and has a din connector, the BT designs aux patch cable will work. Apparently, Nissan stopped including the din compatible head unit sometime after January of 2003. Hope this helps.
If you buy from us, we'll tell you which wire to tap for power and ground.
You need an antenna adapter pair, go to autotoys.com and search under ni30
on our site for the antenna adapters. The adapter itself comes with an aux
cable or you can use ipod with it.
Yes, you need antenna adapters. Depending on your year, you have 2
different types and you need the IN and OUT. Click on the YOUTUBE MORE INFO
description of the video, we provide DIRECT LINKS to buy the antenna
adapters. Thanks for watching.
I have a 2007 Nissan Xterra, so which antenna adapter should I use? Also,
which wire in the car did you use to power the modulator? Does the
modulator kit you purchased come with an aux cable, or a port? Any help
would great! Thanks!
You can grab these wires at the radio, which we did. For the lights in this
video, we put a relay in at the battery and ran a trigger from a switch
(from ignition) to take power directly from the battery through a relay.
Did you need an antenna adapter for this car? Im hooking one up in a few
days and I've read that these xterras dont have a regular antenna wire its
a clip and you need and adapter
