+Dreamydoodles  It was a death penalty charge, The attorney placed reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury linking to an accidental drowning and George helping cover it up, also saying she was abused and had learned to lie from day dot. In a death penalty case you can't find her guilty if there is a slight reason to doubt it may have been George. Beyond reasonable doubt and I am sorry but there was a lot of speculation. The charge should have been manslaughter, as a child died under the care of Casey, manslaughter meaning accidental death, and as she was found in a bag, covering up the death. She would be in prison now. Sad that they went for death penalty with no solid evidence to tie her to the crime. The attorney said in his opening statement, which I know wasn't used as evidence, that you will hear lies that Casey told, but he kind of said this was normal for Casey, the family was dysfunctional, threw in the sexual abuse thing and bobs your uncle you have doubt, there was no real motive to murder her. Probably was accidental by sedation, We will never know the full truth. Whatever Casey suffers from, I am sure they have pills for it, she should have been sectioned to a mental hospital. We may hear about this women in the future, she clearly is unstable, and a risk.

I think part 1 was between her and Cindy (her mom) but towards the end the call she calls Christina by name and she keeps referring to her Mom..like when she said "just give your number to my mom".

Well she was actually talking to her brothers girlfriend Christina.. not her Mom but yes absolutly she is a control FREAK. I like how Christina kept saying.. Here's what I don't like: I don't like it when Cindy tries to give an explanation to the investigator and the video just cuts ahead. I wanna hear what she has to say. And plus, those 2 guys seem like total assholes. ----Cindy was probably furious that Casey hadn't reported her garndaughter missing for a whole month....which is why she wanted her arrested....but didn't neccearily believe that she killed her daughter. ---Cindy was going to explian the "damn dead body" but the video cut. : /

1. She "knows" the smell of dead flesh; Said it smelled like that; but then said, "No, it was a pizza." 2. She's GRIEVING, but no one knew Caylee was dead yet. 3. She LOST her granddaughter, but no one knew she was dead yet. 4. Her focus is on combatting the officers, dragging her feet, and doing only what she HAS to do. Wouldn't you want to do everything you COULD, give them any document they wanted, to help them find her?? I think she knew Casey did it, and was trying to protect her.

They weren't threatening you, you idiot! They went to the nursing home for the purpose of a police investigation. Does she think she can tell the cops when and where they are allowed to investigate and then tell them you will no longer cooperate if they don't do what you say? You threatened them, you vile hag! Why won't sit quietly, and listen? She's always interrupting them, and arguing, too. I can't believe this; however, I still believe that she's clueless about Caylee's disappearance. She's not giving these people a chance to express themselves. I'd listen up if I were her. I'd be sitting quietly, and absorbing every piece of information they have about Caylee. She's just prolonging the search, and rescue for her (at this time, anyway). This interview is how many months old?

I really like detective Melich so far. He was one of the detectives that interrogated Casey at universal studios. I love the way he called Cindy out. And when he testified at Casey's bond hearing, Casey looked terrified. Finally someone that won't let her pull the wool over their eyes and allow her to dodge important questions. They just kept on her, but Casey is apparently never going to crack. In hindsight, he also got a ton of stuff right at Casey's interrogation.

I'm got so sick of her bitching about how law enforcement and everyone else wasn't looking for her granddaughter. Does she have any idea how much exposure Caylee got compared to other missing children cases. Everyone was looking for her. The reason the attention turned to Casey was because every single lead she gave them was a complete fabrication. And for someone who hates all the attention, she sure opens her big mouth a lot whenever a camera is pointed her way.

Cindy didn't want them to find Caylee. She wanted the investigators to come to her house DAILY and give HER reports. She wanted them to talk to her for HOURS and hours INSTEAD of following real leads. She wanted them to spend HOURS listening to LIES about Zanny, Zachary, Juliette Lewis, Tom Manly, etc INSTEAD of following REAL leads to find the TRUTH and Caylee. Cindy...you are a DISGRACE to the human race and the worst grandmother on this planet, imo.
