Now that Barney is back on the market, he has decided to crack out his playbook on how to pick up chicks. There are from basics moves like "The Don´t Drink ...
After re-watching this and some other season 8 episodes I'm actually kinda
glad Barney didn't really burn the playbook. He kept it as a safety net,
for when things would go south. But when he says to Jeanette to blow up the
book, you can see he is for real this time. Really.
+Mohamed Abdourahman The tie-in book states that it's a qualifying introduction gambit where you serve as your own wingman/pivot: Mrs. Stinsfire talks you up to the sorority girls in preparation for your eventual visit.
We take a look at a oldie but a goodie with the Blackberry playbook. This was a innovative product from blackberry but may have been too late. What are your ...
The best thing about the playbook was that it had HDMI, and through bridge
you could use the phone as a remote control! I would have my playbook
hooked up to the big screen and navigate it from my couch with my Bold. Ah,
Blackberry had a vision...
I have a Blackberry Playbook and I still use it with my Blackberry Classic.
I can use it with the phone internet, where there is no browser. I like the
way that it works. I would like to watch Netflix with it sometimes, but you
need to pay for the use of it. I would like to get another one just in
case my happens to stop working. Still it is a good tool for a person
tablet. I do not have any trouble when the battery becomes deid. I just
turn on my tablet and start charging the tablet. But you are right, it is
not good when you have to keep a charge on the device.
I had one then I got a camera error so Blackberry (RIM) sent me a new one
but the main charging board broke so I didn't bother getting a new one...
However I'm hoping to buy one tomorrow :)
The worst thing about the PlayBook is the fact they totally stopped all
support for it. Meaning the few really annoying bugs there are in the OS
will not be fixed.
I just bought a new 64GB Playbook for $85. I'm just t now learning how to
use it, but I'm certain (given my limited requirements) that I'm doing to
love it.
If you have a passport, unless you really like tablets you will not need one although for how cheap they are on eBay for a 16gb, they are really nice to have especially in since you can Bluetooth your passports sms messages right to the playbook for a larger experience when at your desk as well as do all the things a tablet does. With a passport it would be more of a luxury then necessity, I use a Q-10 for my daily driver so to me it is a necessity. If your question was does it work with the passport, yes - 100%!
+AlwaysOnline2000 There is NO DOUBT you will fall in love with the OS, that is what is so great about it, very smooth, etc. QNX is used in the space shuttles and in almost every high end smart cars, etc now a days which is what blackberry is, QNX! It is a very smooth ride for the money but you may have to do a little digging around for certain apps but then again, I already did that so you can always come to me and ask and I can send you the police scanner .apk to sideload onto your device that I already know work flawless. I am streaming a movie right now from my desktop to the playbook over the air using a program called kalemsoft, it is awesome and makes it so you pretty much never run out of space this way as you do not need to store everything onto the device, They may not have as many app's as android but the ones they do have are premium. I would NEVER buy an android personally or a kindle but I would venture into a Microsoft full windows 8.1 pro (not an RT) to try out but every-time I think about grabbing one, I pickup my play-book and realize it already does everything I personally need and then some..
+AlwaysOnline2000 BTW: If you do order a playbook, get the Otterbox Defender case with it at the same time, around $25 on eBay and worth every penny, although built great already - it really protects it well, even has a built in screen protector.
+Total Tech Hey bud, I meant to ask you, any easy way to get all of the empty android folders off that were left behind from sideloaded .apk's apps that did not work? If I do a full system wipe and start fresh, does the playbook blackberry world remember (in their cloud per say?) in the blackberry world all of the apps I paid for and downloaded or do I have to remember them and will I have issues getting them back without repaying? Also, is the wipe that I see on Google saying that it left them without blackberry world icon, etc a thing of 2.0 or does it even happen when done today? I would like to do a wipe now that I know exactly what I need and want but do not want to risk losing my apps I paid for as I do not remember everything, when I sign back in after the wipe, it should be there?..
+AlwaysOnline2000 It is not slow, the LTE has a 1.5ghz dual processor but as I just found out, it only adds milliseconds and IMO the original 64gb is the best ever made, they rushed the LTE and it also has a smaller battery life and not as good of a screen, the original play-book is spectacular. If you do get it, get the web browser (free in app world) Origami asap and use that, it works perfect, it is what everyone does. It runs on QNX and IMO is still very relevent to this day. I bought mine to par with my blackberry phone so I can text on the tablet via bluetooth from my phone but ended up using it for so much as in movies, music, facebook, quora and youtube. You can sideload android apps easy but not all work but some do and the ones that do are great like the police scanner, etc. If you are a HUGE 'app" guy then I would say not to get the playbook but if you want a solid machine that is still very much relevant today and love blackberrys software as most people who have them do, then get it - or if you want something original that is pretty cheap and built like a tank! If you know which apps' (do the research and ask around) to install, the playbook is spectacular, I do everything from monitor my home, text with it, make phone calls via free apps' and watch download movies and songs as well as scour the web in which it works well as flash and java is built into the operating system. It is the most under-priced tablet as of now because they ended support but all that means is that no new operating systems but I love the operating system they left us with, it does everything but again if you are HUGE app guy, go with an android, if you are more about the web versus using apps to get to the same thing and want a tough sturdy, rare and VERY SECURE device - get the playbook 64gb. I can tell you who I bought mine off of from eBay. I am sure total tech will have more in depth info for you that I forgot, the good and bad as he knows even more then myself. If you do get it and end up loving it as much as I do, you will probably find yourself over at blackberryos.com and crackberry.com as well as totally switching operating system to become a "blackberry head" as in getting as blackberry phone as well. Yes, they still make them, just released another new one as in the passport, then the leap.
+Lloyd Wilson Refurbished or new, new? I bought a new one 64-gig on way now for $140 free ship. It is not even open at all, spanking new! Only one I could find on ebay that was not refurbished or without box and open, but that is a good deal either way so very awesome! You saved $55 more then myself, especially if your is coming factory sealed as well. Order the Rapid charger asap to as well as the otterbox cover, I did it all at once, all on the way!
This is by far my favorite system I have made. A Star Wars Themed R2-D2 PS4 Laptop. Check out more by subscribing to my channel and www.edsjunk.net ...
+RarityGamer they are jealous because the ps4 is the most best selling console worldwide right now, poor shitbox it selling lower than the ps4 and nobody buys it lol
+DemonlyAngelic he is very dumb for hating playstation, which was always the best console and btw the first xbox was a total failure, same with xbox one right now lol
+stizz1982 I didn't mention anything about power, I said the xbox 1 is a shitty piece of hardware that takes up way too much space. I haven't looked into this comparison as far as I know ps4 usually has better specs on it's games and wtf 90fps? Who actually runs a game at 90fps? The xbox1 would make one fat ugly laptop that's all I'm sayin
+TheGreatUtopiaCat yes Xbox the so called underpowered system to hit 90fps on a game called killer instinct. And the almighty all powerful and superior console the ps4 has frame rate drops and struggles to keep at 60fps.
+DemonlyAngelic yah he is a dork because the xbox 1 would make one heavy laptop loool

+rowdy yeats Well, I guess as long as you have adrenalin pumping through your veins, you do not need anti-depressants. And antipsychotics tend to slow downyour reflexes. And not being in a meaningful, monogamous relationship, or having to worry about child support payments - "Call Home Office.. they handle the receipts". But seriously, though the Mental Health Authority is a very different kind of policing authority - that is what it is, is it not?.. Silver Lining? You might meet someone, interesting... whom you would not have met, otherwise. So, by whose design, if not Spectre's?

They should add it to the play-book offically, what ever became of this
version did it get fully fixed or better to stay with the last release ever
released in 2014? The Playbook is still useful today, that says allot, I
bang out text messages all day paired with my blackberry classic running OS
10.3xx and my play-book is still on standard latest edition official
release OS.
Does this give you the newer android run-time? This would be the only
reason to do this is if the bluetooth/bridge to phone still worked and
android run-time was updated to run app's like Voxer and CB Radio Chat from
droid, I would then do it. I do not mind the quirks with not being able to
ever allow it to die, etc...
Good work man somebody's got to do it if rim aren't going to do it , this
may actually forcing rim to put out an update to bb10 for the playbook as
it makes rim look like a lazy developers who need outside developers to do
their work for them !
Y al final . . . no hay sistema operativo 10 para la Playbook, y no solo
eso, nos abandonan a todos los que compramos la PB porque no la van a
evolucionar . . . Asi que los de BB, son unos mentirosos y unos cobardes .
. .
wow just checking if it still wasn't on, BB10 isn't a huge deal just get it
on Playbook already.Half of the playbook users have stopped using it such
as me.Its been years and they still make a big deal of everything
Will this allow voxer to work like it does in blackberry ten if I sideload
it? Also Cb Radio, only two app's I need and I can go back to my beloved
Playbook as I know SPMC/Kodi will never come!
it's so unfinished that it doesn't even worth the trouble installing,
you'll actually have less features on your PB with BB10 compared with 2.1
version
