+Kyle Hey Thanks for watching and Thanks for the comment. If you liked this, Keep an eye on my channel, I've got some more like it from this years VidCon coming soon!
As a teacher who was unable to attend VidCon, thank you from the bottom of
my heart for putting this up.
Are there any other teachers out there incorporating YouTube videos into
their classrooms? If so, how have you found them most useful (ie: sparking
interest in a topic, review, homework, etc.)? And any chance there will be
a break-out session at next year's VidCon where teachers can discuss this?
Since you guys so kindly tend to schedule these things during our long
break. ;D
Also, I've run into difficultly because I teach fifth graders, and a lot of
the videos I'd like to share with them are inappropriate to show in a
classroom setting (no matter how cool and educational it is to see a wolf
dissected, I can't really show that to a class full of ten year olds; and
some of the off-hand/humorous comments in the CrashCourse videos are a
little mature for kids). I don't want those content creators to change
because they're doing a wonderful job, but are there any channels out there
geared toward the intermediate/elementary crowd?
Thank you!!!
Keith Hughes has done a great job incorporating it into his inner city history classes. Seriously, check him out. https://www.youtube.com/user/hughesDV
