The people behind these forfeiture liens are following the same path as IRS audits and the German GESTAPO. I have been homeless for over 8 years, and got slapped with an over $5,000 tax lien from the California Franchise Board. WHILE LIVING IN OREGON> Considering I haven't had a business or job for the past 8 years it's fake. NEXT THEY STARTED TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT, YES THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA STARTED TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR "TAXES". THAN THEY PUT A LIEN ON ANY PROPERTY I HOPE TO OWN IN THE FUTURE> so I closed my bank account and now use gift cards to pay the gym so I can take showers. WELCOME TO THE EMERGENCE OF THE AMERICAN GESTAPO

Civil forfeiture is a fancy name for theft in uniform & it needs to be stopped. Nobody should have the right to take anything on mere suspicion. The onus is on those to prove guilt, it's not for anyone to prove innocense first. Good job at holding their feet to the fire, & keep it up! ;)

What are your thoughts on this video? https://youtu.be/G69bFnhPo2E They didn't tell the general public a "procession" was going to happen (a mere 14 hrs after the tragic death of an officer) and the other drivers seemed to panic as they tried to get out of the way of the police vehicles.
