+Aaron Deck it was a trolley. It had regular rubber wheels but went along a cable above. I'm pretty sure that's correct. I'm no expert though.

A bus is self-powered and steerable. Trams and streetcars are powered by overhead wires and run on tracks set into the road surface. Trolley buses also have overhead wires but run on wheels and are steerable.
