I don't know about other people who love to vote against their own best interest and have no sense of dignity and respect for themselves, but I for one refuse to allow people to exploit me and treat me like a slave. As a "salary worker" making just a little bit more than I was making with my high school diploma, I've had to work many hours for FREE. Not only was I not paid time and a half for overtime, I was not paid anything for overtime. This was a regular occurrence, and on average my department stayed 3-4 hours extra every day and some days I would have to stay until midnight. Employers and management don't care, if they have to work "a few" extra hours it's fine for them because they can afford to have a babysitter for their kids and a maid to clean their house while they're away.
