Gerrit- I have virtually this exact car, family owned since new. Mine also has the Porsche script seats. My interior is "grey beige", looks like yours is as well. My seats are the "leatherette" like yours. While the leather seats were more desirable when new they didn't often last well. Most of them are cracked from age. The leatherette actually fared better overall. It's rare to see one in Stone Grey ( stein grau ) with the black fuchs. The guards red doesn't fare well over time- it typically fades and goes flat. The stone grey fared better and is now a color more in line with modern vehicles. I like that your 944 does not have the door ding guards. Mine is also absent them. You have to get rid of that alarm key thing. That wasn't standard and it's ugly, imo. My 944 was an anniversary present from my father to my mother and thus it has huge sentimental value for me. That's why I have chosen to keep mine all stock with no "hot rod" or non-standard parts...and as original as possible. Great little "poor man's" exotic car there.
