This video was created to provide a brief introduction to the purpose and application of the shell balance, as often encountered in introductory transport ...
I like how you guys use images and diagrams to explain how to do shell
balances. Momentum balances are a tough topic to learn for students in
chemical engineering. It seems you have a great amount of experience
teaching shell balances and have a good enough grasp on the concept to be
able to teach it to students. One thing that could be improved is to show
each step of the derivation because when I took my fluid dynamics course I
always had trouble understanding how each part of the Naiver Stokes
equation was derived.
at time 49.06, we can also make the assumption that due to the
incompressible fluid assumption, we assume density to be constant, hence it
goes to zero.
Saying this in the case that we are not aware of the velocity assumption on
incompressible fluids.
Very good!! I´m master of science chemical engineering. I like your video.
Transport phenomena equations are ubiquitous, please visit to me in flickR
Jorge Gamaliel Frade Chávez i like computer graphics very much!!. See you.

Difference Between Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical engineering versus biotechnology . , . . . . With so many special fields becoming important, many students ask me the question what is the difference ...

No offence to this guy, but his opinion on body powered upper extremity
prosthesis is simply misinformed. Many of them are far more high tech and
practical than some of the over priced myo arms that are running on 1950's
technology. Don't knock it till you've tried it.
I thought there might be a chance I could meet this man some day, until I
heard his accent. Different side of the planet. YouTube brings us together
