Just picked up this game, partially due to your review (I was almost there,
you were basically the straw that broke the proverbial back). Nice review!
seems to be the case so far. I stopped reading after a bit, then saw all the requested edits for the playbook...Yikes. check BGG.
Sabbatical Blog for 3/23 - Walt Disney World
This week, Scott is at Walt Disney World. He talks about his approach to getting to the park, then explores two alternate reality games (ARGs) - Sorcerers of the ...
Actually, ARG means both Alternate Reality Game and Augmented Reality Game.
An Augmented Reality Game is using a visual overlay on a real-world
setting, like superimposing spaceships on a real landscape using a smart
phone camera. An Alternate Reality Game is one where a different story is
placed inside of a real world setting. An Alternate Reality Game can also
be an Augmented Reality Game. Since this game isn't using any actual video
of where you are at Disney, it isn't Augmented Reality.
I am glad you are having a good time bro, you have earned it. I have to
agree with some of the others, this video hurt my eyes a little. Maybe cut
out some of the walking while camera is facing down ? I think it was trying
to focus when you raised it back up, and that was what got slightly blurry
at times.
You guys are great. Board games are increasingly expensive and people like
you, who allow genuine insight and honest appraisal up front, are
priceless. Keep up the great work.
For anyone interested, the rulebook has been updated, is VASTLY improved
and located on their website in PDF form. It completely removes the issues
mentioned in the video.
