@pugpoo mine has never broken down, 7 years of driving hard!! owned a VT 350 chev, broke 2 engine mounts, piston slap, sump knock, weeled it back to the dealer after 2 1/2 years puffing like a steam train and traded it, worst car and engine i have ever owned! CHEV - i rev'd it and it broke - hahahah

Well the Holden HSV does have a LS3 6.2 liter. Which if you look at them side my side. They're extremely similar to one another. I'm American which has been talked about these only in Aussie. Since Pugpoo brought up it being a taxi... just saying that is probably the fastest taxi in Aussie! Haha

what like Holden import all their V8 now? all crate motors from the US? your point.... Holden engineers are now as bad as ford one? I wouldn't go bragging about a 253 V8 mate... small useless engine for a small car... just another Troll looking at Ford Burnouts as secretly your Jealous :)

sorry mate but these cars are designed and built locally by FORD AUS only, cant get them in the US, only imported parts were 5.4 lower end engine and 4.6 cobra heads. new models only import is coyote SC engine, car still designed and built in Aus.

haha, if you pay 800 bucks a tyre mate, i dont think I am the moron here. If you were smart enough to read (IF)you would see the tyre's were bald and due to be replaced anyway... arhhh why bother, your probably tossing over porn by now anyway.

Lol at Kylehoneysett, it's designed by ford AUSTRALIA they are seperate company's from each other, same shit different smell, and if you read the comments from the people that actually live in America, they obviously don't sell them there..

Hey mate, Just had the centre mufler replaced with a couple of hot dogs and the rear with a manta sports ecxhaust, gave it slightly more grunt and alot more noise, just droned alot on cruise. Much better now it is done properly :) Cheers

I just bought a BA MKII XR8 today with 33,000 on the clock I never thought I would buy a Ford it was so much better than the Y clubsport and the VZ SS i test drove before it. It got to 180km so quick! So smooth to drive as well.

Love mine mate, goes very well, sounds good and have had minimal issues with it for 5 1/2 years. Make sure you check over them well and dirve a few first is all i can recommend, but I have no intensions of selling mine :) Cheers

Ford Australia have never designed their own V8 engines. Always been copies of American Ford engines. Holden designed and built their own unique V8 engines for 30 years, 1969 - 1999. Ford Australia engineers are useless.

@beammark hi mate, its a ford falcon made in Australia, look at ford aus web site. 5.4 ltr boss v8. has 5.4 ltr truck bottom end and 4.6 cobraR heads. 32 valve quad cam. goes nice. mine is a 2003 model 260kw from factory
