hell yeah this song is so dope i was a little kid when i heard this song
and fell into a crush with the poly girl bumbing this song on her old juke
box that needed 6D bateries
@SAVLOD i think im lookin for same song used to play on rankin miss p "she
give me rice and peas and chicken stuffin she my little raggamuffin" have
you had any luck yet
@BUDINGkicksADRIANNE wow. adik na siya akala ko na sa states si bryan? ang
mali kasi ng UMD nagstick sila masyado sa isang style not like maneouvers
and streetboys they experimented on their own styles and came up with
different trends that cater to the masses. and just to set the record man.
the term "PITIK" wasnt the correct term that Maneouvers were utilizing in
their styles. most of them were old school Funk Stylers. FUnk Styles means
they use Poppin and Lockin in their dances.t
maneouvers tademark nila was "PITIK" na step just like gary v coz they were
gary v's back up dancers(originally) then UMD's trademark were kembot.
STREETBOYS was and still stunts. there were many groups that was good
before...Magnificent 7, DFT, SGNG(solid gold new generation)(handled by
madam maribeth vichara)... well most of them were not that lucky most of
them didnt handle the hype..like that bryan furlow of UMD..addict na sa
pasay.. fame can be so addictive..
one things for sure nag evolve na talaga ang dance. its like before dance
groups can just perform a one dance number using just one song. and perform
repetitive steps. but now daym. one song isnt enough everybody has to
freakin push themselves to the limit just to please the crowd. but still i
give props and respect to these guys for inspiring lots of people from my
generation.heck they are one of the reasons why im still passionate with
dancing. =)
yeah man ur right about that. im doing what i do as a passion na lang and
as a replacement to playing basketball. so i can still work pa din.
nagkataon lang talaga na these guys managed to be the first ones to do what
they do in our country. as far as i remember kahit umd hindi naman ginagawa
ung aerial flips and stunts that streetboys were doing during those early
days. so parang sila ung naging pioneer.
How can i ever forget Streetboys, we used to cut class just so we can
record their Dances in Eat Bulaga before, if i can remember it correctly, i
think it was every wednesday ang sayaw nila s EB noon, nguunahan kami ng
iba mga Dance Group s school n makagaya ng bago or latest nila... as in
sobrang sikat sila dati..
yeah. hanggang ngaun but not as like the old days. and i gained alot of
weight now. and being a dancer wont really pay the bills man..but to these
guys they made it like no other did... break dancing and doing crazy stunts
wont secure the best life for u and ur family..unless u got lucky...
OMG naaalala ko pa tong production number na to haha.. i used to love this
song so much... grade 3 plang ata ako nito, fave ko nun si patrick
haha..Promo to for Rollerboys.. G Toengi, Patrick Garcia, CJ at Bodie Cruz
:)
God save the queen una..long before the rivalry between UMD starts..i went
for a try out before pero di ako nakuha..that was like 92...sumikat sila sa
tootsie rolla and la bambola..then the rest is history..
kung d ako nag kakamali ang unang sayaw nila is yung labambola.. nice
classic video ha!! dati completo din ako s ganyan.. sana may mag post ng
complete dance nila ng friends tsaka tootsieroll
daym muntik ko na makalimutan maneouvers. those guys pioneered New style
Hip hop in the early 90s. they're the ones that introduced intriquite steps
to the scene
