You do know the series is based on a book series right? You make it sound
like it was a decition made by HBO. Thats what i like with TV series based
on (and true to) a book(series of books in this case), the producers of the
show cant keep a character people like just to get more viewers. But i will
say that i got plenty upset when they killed Lord Stark in the book. Also,
thanks for the video Jack! I'm going to make this tomorrow and also have a
look at the other recipes on that webpage.
My favorite character is one that shows up in the second season, Brienne. I
see a lot of posts here and I agree the books are better but the show is a
great summary...they are begining to warp some plotlines in season two now.
In any case, lol I can tell you don't do dough very often at all. You need
less flour on the cutting board or it'll dry out easier - especially when
it's store bought. Also, if I made it into a vegetarian pie, do you think
that they would come out as nicely?
I thought that it is obvious that you must take off any rings and clean
your hands thoroughly before touching your food. Once your hands are clean
there is no problem to use them, unless you have your nails painted then I
agree with you and gloves would be appreciated. Don't get me wrong, I
didin't mean to talk big or anything like that. I like Jack and enjoy
watching his videos so why shouldnt I give him few hints that he may
consider and use in future episodes. Peace
My favorite is Tyrion. I know he is a cynical little bas#&rd but if you
read the books you would understand why he is liked. You should really read
the books they are even better than the show. More sex and violence than
the show can put on t.v. Even for H.B.O. Love your show and watch it all
the time. Keep up the great work. By the way I tried this and it was great
but I did roll the dough to make it a little more manageable.
Hi Jack! I have just subscribed to you and I really enjoy your videos! I
have a strong passion for gardrning as well as cooking so i will probably
be starting my own cooking channel here on YouTube. I will give you the
link if I create one. I also have a blog on blogspot that you can Chaco out
called isaacskitchen on blogspot :) thanks! And I look forward to watching
your videos :)
I'm not sure of you heard, but there a cookbook of game of thrones of fire
and ice out in stores. I found this out yesterday, and I really want to get
the cookbook. I've seen some game of thrones fans cooking some food from
the cookbook, and I think it would be great if you post up some video of
trying out some recipes from the game of thrones of fire and ice cookbook.
I love pork pies! I come from a county in England that is famous for it's
pork pies and has the best pork pies in the world. They are nice eaten cold
with a salad, pickled onions, branston pickle and french bread. I wonder if
your pork pies taste like ours? The consistency of the filling looks
similar to ours but I think you need to work on the pastry.
Hi Jack! I love your video's. This looks really good! My mother used to
make meat pies (tortiere) and I absolutely hated them--they were dry and
flavorless (sorry mom) but I noticed that she never really used a lot of
spices or seasonings when I was younger, just italian seasoning and pepper.
I will have to try your version and redeem this meal! lol
the cool thing about this kind of food is that they can look ugly, it's all
part of the fun, it can be great making a meal that looks pretty, but it
can be awesome fun making food that is just ugly, as long as it taste good.
P.s I love how you make cooking fun, for me that's what it is all about, oh
plus we need to eat to live haha
I've been baking for almost 60 years, so I'm not easily impressed, esp. by
amateurs, but this video is awesome. I'll be searching your videos for the
next few days for more tips and how-tos. (I've used many an odd-sized lid
in my day - just remember to dip them in flour before cutting pastry or
biscuits to prevent sticking)
I never use my hands to mix meat because I can't stand getting raw meat
under my fingernails. It doesn't seem very clean either because of germs
under your nails and rings that can get in the food. I use a spoon or a
mixer. I suppose you could use rubber gloves. BTW, don't worry about Jack.
He knows what he is doing.
They killed off my favorite character! Khal Drogo. :( I was sooooo upset!
He was awesome and handsome. And then they executed my second favorite
character, Lord Stark. Why!?!?! Anyway, I will be most happy if they never,
ever kill off Tyrion Lannister. He's the only one I believe who has any
sort of humor on the show.
Replace breadcrumbs with bread and milk. Breadcrumbs steal all the moisture
from the meat, I made meatballs that same way a few weeks ago I forgot to
use bread and milk and went with breadcrumb and was the driest meatball I
ever had. Just soak some bread in milk and mix it into mixture.
They look delicious jack! in your next attempt you should try some cheese
in there to! That could be very good and tasty. My favorite character in
Game of Thrones is Eddard Stark because he is just "Boromir"! will not
reveal more about him if you have not seen all the episodes yet! ;)
hey jack trying them out today but i noticed that in your recipe it calls
for 1/2 cup bread crumbs and 6 cupcake tins but in the video you use 1 cup
of bread crumbs and 12 cupcake tins so was there a double batch or ....??
lol thanks for all the neet videos jack
