Truth be known, Canadians will have to decide what kind of nation they are going to be celebrating in 2017. Let's educate ourselves, learn to recognize the power monsters, as they develop, and stop dignifying them, and pretending that everything is going to be taken care of. I'm sure Ryerson didn't initially intend to be the instrument of genocide, although his faith in pleasing Church & Government, was stronger then his personal faith and mind for God. Always separate Church & State of Mind. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you.

The greater you know about you history, the more it befriends you. "A Mari Usque Ad Mare"! oh! Dominion square! If only you could talk. South of Le boulevard Réné Lévesque and west of la rue Peel lies a 150 000 sqft landmark called le square Dominion. Also known as la Place du Canada, monuments to Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Robet Burns, Sir John Alexander Macdonald as well as to the canadians who fought in the Boers in Africa are erected on the same resting place.

After the cholera outbreak of 1851, the area, which has been the site of cemeteries of various denomination. Including a former Jewish Cemetary as well as the Saint-Antoine Catholic Cemetery. It was suggested that the City of Montréal purchased the land and transform it into a public park in order to prevent the movement of bodies of cholera victims Unfortunatly, like every other tale, there is a darker side, secrets of the past, the hidden truth.
