i didnt have to at all. but i strongly recommend doing it. im bout to put the 4.56 gears on mine. with that much lift and size tires and stock gears your truck will be much slower and feel like you pretty well lost most your power it seems like

i have 4.56 gears, vortech supercharger, 5.5 inch skyjacker lift with 37" bfg all terrains, mine dont rub but i dont offroad.

my duel shock lift was 1800 and one of my buddies dads knew how to install these so it cost 500 for instalation

Awesome....I installed some spyder halo led projectors 10k and they aren't nearly as bright as yours. They came with 35 w ballasts I'm wondering if maybe that may be the problem and should get some 55w ballasts for them.

You're aren't bright because you used 10k.....higher the kelvin temperature the less light ur going to get.  That's why BMW's ect use 4000k

Hey Cody how did you get your HIDs to work man! I live in Oklahoma City and just bought a 12 single cab ram 5.7 and took it to every audio/video place that does HIDs in the state and EVERYONE says they won't touch the new rams when it comes to HIDs because they can't fix the flicker problem even with relays?

Hmm? Me and my uncle wired them in following the instructions only issue was when changing to LED signal lights you need a resistor which was cheap and easy to install to eliminate hyperflash with those.

I had an 04 hemi done up and it was pretty loud with the flowmaster american thunder series and i grew tired of the drone this set up with the intake and throtle body gives it a strong whistle and really woke the trucks sound up it sounds like it has exhaust under load.

HEMIFan: That is a nice truck. The light mods really impressed me. I swapped out the head/fog lights on my 2012 and they don't come close. I'm going to use your truck as a guide to get the light mods done on mine. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks bud since this video i have installed a light bar with a custom mount into the bumper and my recon halos did not stand up to winter... the box that powers the halos was not protected enough from moisture not impressed... Going to just wait to fix it in the summer.
