Whats the best way to differentiate a school of bass in sunken cover vs a
school of crappie? New to fish finders. I have a lowrance and a garmin.
Does it depend on water temp and time of the year? Or can you actually tell
by how they are grouped or size? Great video. Thank you for sharing. All
help appreciated.
+Brutuss04 I find that crappie like to stack up on top of the cover. They will get in it too. But this time of year I find them like on top of each over the cover. In the winter it can be the exact opposite, with them almost laying on the bottom. I've not seen schools of bass necessarily in cover. So if I see arches in cover or on bottom near cover but not many and they are more scattered, I find those are often bass. I would love to tell you "it is always this way or always that way." but that's just not the case. My advice is to focus on the brush, fish it with maybe crappie lures first, then maybe throw a worm through there for bass and see if what you saw was bass or crappie. I often will drive back over a pile after I catch some fish out of it, to see how the fish changed or are positioned on it. It's helped me learn what to look for on my lake at different times.
I see where you are coming from but for the most part you can find the fish on the by just as simple as looking for overlaying cover or structure that is partially/mostly submerged. -GOOD FISHIN' to you sir!!

+Link Knight They want you to make as much as possible so they can take from you as much as possible and while you are at it, don't bother them. It's a farm. We are the cattle.
+RadicalRC here in australia, the state DOESN'T want you to utilize it! no joke. they want you to go like hell with NO HELP from them. Make something from nothing with none of their help. But then they STILL HAVE their hand in your pocket. that way they haven't spent any money on you, and they are still taking just as much money from you. so they are making a profit with as little costs as possible, which means a higher profit margin.
+Link Knight The way you're dealing with it isn't expanding or encouraging more "state". It may offend some's sensibilities.. It's a practical matter. You are dealing with it in a way that does not incur a burden on your fellow man in the way that others do when they feed the predatory nature of the state by utilizing them. In other words, it's healthy for Liberty to take care of business without feeding the systems sucking us dry. Not a standard view, I know.
+RadicalRC there is ANOTHER one turning up and eating some of the kittens food. as you will see in a video soon. FixedbyDoc said I should have given them to the shelter. giving them to the shelter here is almost certain death. VERY few people take any of them, and they have got no hesitations gassing them here. My aunty got a dog from a shelter and its a nasty shit of a thing. Its NOTHING like LA where people get rid of them as soon as they aren't cute. Here MOST people have them til they die. except the dickheads that dump all the cats around my place. Most of the dogs in shelters here are actually real PROBLEM dogs, which is exactly why they have ended up there. btw a few asians used to eat dogs and about 7 years ago they actually passed a law here banning eating dog! no joke! but I think it still goes on anyway. at least someone is getting some use out of dogs that would have been gassed anyway.
+Link Knight It's a good thing you are not here in America. That statement ruffle lots of feathers. Of course, back to reality. We have to live in the real world and tons of un-cared for cats is worse.
some will be facing the firing squad soon. I was hoping to do it this weekend but my father wants to make a trap coz the mother is rarely even there let alone out in the open to get a clear shot at. she is the main concern. the kittens are easy to catch. i noticed one trying to climb a tree the other day. the kittens that I keep will get the snip so we don't end up with a tribe full of the things. on the other hand, the more kittens, the more dumplings chinese bosses mum gets to eat.....
