Yeah. The only whistle similar to 261's is the L&N Crosby whistle.

+Zephyr4501 Southern's Crosby whistles were slightly higher than PRR (Altoona and Ashton Valve) and had a different timbre. L&N (Crosby) had the same tone but different timbre than the McCavity 3-chime from Canadian National. Look up L&N #152 and Southern Pacific #2353 (footage from 2000), because both whistles in the video have the same sound and timbre and are both L&N whistles). 

I'd say so. It has a middle tone, not high like a PRR 3 chime, but not low like a Hancock 3 chime.

I bet maybe the 3-chime whistle she had is from Burlington valve the same company that made 3-chimes for CB&Q

+Erich Diebold that's not a QJ whistle its clearly the 261s' original whistle she used 1993-1996 before getting the ATSF 6 chime whistle in 1996 I believe that's correct
