+Jonathan McCormick True, true. It doesn't sound over-done, I guess. I think that's why it's taken me longer to come around to liking Magnetic...I don't really dig on pop music. But it has grown on me. It's a great album.

+caitibaby1 Caiti Baby!  Haha.  If it wasn't a rock band doing the remix, I wouldn't mind.  I want guitar sounds not electronic sounds.  I like Rebel Beat even though it has electronic sounds because it's inspired by a block party and the poppy format fits it.

I'll have to check it out. I probably won't like it either. I don't like overly poppy stuff.

+Jonathan McCormick I got a signed copy of the set list :) That's how! I dunno...I liked to hear it live :) I found it to be more powerful live than on the album.

Glad you had such a good time!! How did you find the set list? Haha I don't like how Goo Goo Dolls plays Caught In The Storm through their summer tour and then announce that it is their new single in a couple weeks or something like that.  I thought you announced it was a new single and then play it.  I may kind of be burned out of the song by the time they play it on TV. 

I loved it! I didn't record as much as I usually do because I was having way too much fun. They played a few songs from Superstar Carwash and Boy Named Goo, so that was really awesome. And yes, Magnetic has grown on me. The set list from this show was this: Dizzy, Big Machine, Slide, Rebel Beat, When The World Breaks Your Heart, Already There, Second Time Around, Come To Me, Black Balloon, Stay With You, Here Is Gone, Caught In The Storm (which was awesome live, btw), Naked, Name, January Friend, Bringing On The Light, Better Days, Slow It Down, Broadway, Iris, Sympathy, and Give A Little Bit. Some good stuff in there! Let Love In was also listed on their set list, but they didn't play it.

Hmmm. No, not really. I like guitar solos, but only if the song warrants one.

I'm not sure...I was excited to hear Lazy Eye and kinda bummed they didn't play it. The set list was a little different than what they've played on other stops. I'm assuming that's because this was their hometown. But I'm seeing them again on Monday, so I'll save judgement :)
