So if I were to want to go to Thailand and I wanted to be near the beach & nightlife but a little less crowded than the most bustling touristy areas, where would you recommend?

Stay tuned for the islands I plan to go to: Ko Chang, Ko Mak and Ko Kood. Also Ko Tao and Ko Phayam are nice. I've heard Ko Samet is nice. Hua Hin is a pretty nice spot along the peninsula.

Thanks, I know what you mean. I do use music sometimes, but I agree the main mistake most people make with their travel videos is to mute the sound and then put a song over everything.

I will often start with about $500 USD cash so that I can exchange some money right away without paying any ATM fees, then I'll try to keep a couple hundred bucks U.S. on me just in case I need it and the rest of the time withdraw money from an ATM, which will give you the local currency.

Ha ha, I knew someone would (understandably) ask that question, but no I'm not actually. I'm a meat eater, but was vegetarian at one point. I'm happy to try vegan food and might give that restaurant a try, but I can't imagine for myself actually being vegan permanently.

how gorgeous in that market...great place to stay and that price is amazing...SO excited you chose Thailand! I KNOW you love it...looking forward to all the vids...enjoy! would love when time allows to see a tiny bit slower detail of the tables in typical markets...will never be able to go and love to see what amazing things they sell...
