Not to offend anyone- this is dangerous, not cute! At first horse is just
curious. That`s OK, animal won`t harm anyone in such a state of mind. But
then child starts holding horse`s leg and horse put his ears down. WARNING!
This is symptom of anxiety. Horse is afraid and scared horse can kill this
little one in with one kick or bite. There should be grown up person
holding the horse to control him.
+dec2963-female Why are you just malignant? Do you say you were there to guide the horse? The video does not describe such details about this event, so I assume you were eye witness. I commented on what I can see, not what I imagine or have to guess. And I see a horse that becomes disturbed. People posting such stuff could kindly take their time and make a comment, intead of playing just on sentiments. Thank you for information that child was not in danger.
+zebucowherd Get a grip. If you read the entire information you would know his father was right there. This horse is Trained to work with special needs children. You Do Not know if someone is outside the camera range guiding the horse with signals or words. Learn more about the program before you give your "expert" Opinion.
Brian Jarvis, use your authority and get this ictecnic/Nick Campbell (can't
believe he deserves a Scottish name) moron into boot camp. He is just a
troublemaker who hasn't got a clue what he is talking about. And his
language is foul; which says a lot in itself.
And as for your lack of photo, I am sure you are a very handsome man, but
there is no reason why anyone should demand one. I'll add one though,
myself. *lol*...
And yet again, we come across yet another person who has a problem with those unfortunate enough to have disabilities. Says a lot about you too, Machru. But, whatever. That's your journey. And for your information, I have been involved with horses for the last 30 years, so I actually DO know what I am talking about. Thank you for your concern. I guess I'm just not as narrow minded, and more open to exploring ideas and possibilities than you seem to be.
lets see.... put a 45 pound child in a pen with a 3,000 pound horse. have
these pet owners gone crazy?ask that lady who had her face ripped off by
that monkey how her day went... how about all the people killed by pit
bulls kids baby's old people are killed every month by delusional wack job
pet owner trying to bridge the gap between people and pets.
+Brian Jarvis I can also tell you love children and value others' safety.I agree with your opinion and don't consider it an opinion, I consider it basic mandatory pre-requisite.Safety first.
+Jane Frizzell Jane i hope you know i love horses. i would not live where i do if i didnt. i take pictures of them all the time, my personal opinion is its a adult sport. or well supervised child adult with a horse with a excellent track record,
Valerie, My sister is a nurse the stories come in from time to time. One of my wifes best friend broke her back and almost died.A lady i work with received a brain injury from a horse kicking her, The sad thing is she lost everything treating her injures and she lives in substandard living conditions and still tries to take care of a horse. The list goes on! google it! //www.biak.us/brain-injury-and-horses The facts dont lie. Is this the first you ever herd this? for some reason you sound surprised.
//www.biak.us/brain-injury-and-horsesValerie, read the stats i sent you. real world! The horse thing is just a ego trip for the parents or who ever wants to push the horse agenda. disabled children should not be in a pen.FYI i look out my front door i see a horse barn. i have 3 horse farms on my street, I do not dislike horses at all, its my opinion children should not be on them, Im sure out of the 70,000 injures per year many children out of that number will be robbed of a normal life. All in the name of a pretentious ego maniac parent.
Have you worked with horses? Have you seen them with children? I have. They are very sensitive to children, especially those with syndromes, and cancer, blindness.
+Nick Campbell Little nicky you sound like a angry person. Im sure im not the only one to tell you this. It not my fault you live in your parents basement and collecting a government monthly check. you should thank your lucky stars tax paying guys like me exist because we pay your bills and what ever disability lawsuit you have cooking. Im real close to figuring out your age.... I cant be fooled by your immaturity because you very well could be 25 to 55 going by what is spued out that C sucker under your nose. you should be "tired of tying" because i'm about ready to make you cry to mama.
+Nick Campbell LIttle Nicky you need to read through my comments a little better. Im not at all against people with disabilities.I'm questioning the adults who needlessly put kids in this type of situation, The good news is i've done my job making people like you think before putting a child in danger like what's on the video. The good news is if you ever do something stupid to endanger a child we now have a paper trail to prove how you think. Calling me a baby killer proves how immature you are.
Whatever floats your boat, Jane. Whatever floats your boat. I don't care anymore. You and that Brian son of a bitch can just float off into your own worlds as far as I'm concerned, so good luck to you. I guess I am just more open minded. Whatever. Each to their own.
+Nick Campbell the danger has nothing to do with a child's disability. you are off the mark and need to read what I have written more carefully. you are looking for a prejudice in me that does not exist. I would not put any person that size and experience level in with a loose horse. I myself don't want to be in a situation like that. One mis-step or stumble onto that pipe rail and ANY of us is gravely injured. Quit trying to fight everyone Nick, and don't suppose you know my heart Would you risk your own child's safety in that situation? I would not.
Wow, Jane. I thought Brian was the ignorant one. Tell me, how do you feel about people who are disabled, and do you believe that because of their situation they deserve to not be able to enjoy their lives, and do things that make them happy?? Seems to me you are just as bad as this Brian Jarvis prick. And here I was thinking you were one of the good ones. However, I would agree with you, that if something were to happen, that the horse itself would be heartbroken and blame itself, because as you said, they do have feelings. Most people know that.
+Brian Jarvis You are welcome. It may make for a 'heartwarming' emotional video, but it is bad horsemanship and from my point of view (as someone in the horse business for 30 years) even child endangerment -- even if the horse or attending adults intend no harm. It IS a kind and gentle horse with its' own emotions. think of the heartbreak if an accident occurred and the horse blamed itself. And the horse would blame itself.Wisdom and caution trump violin strings.I don't like the video. I think it exploits both the boy and the horse.
Wow, Brian Jarvis. Your years as a baby killer have really messed you up, haven't they?? You must HATE people with disabilities. You really would prefer them to be out of sight, out of mind, wouldn't you?? I thank my lucky stars that "people" (monsters) like you are in the minority. How many babies have you killed in your time?? I know you must feel guilty, as you are taking it out on other, vulnerable people who can't stick up for themselves. Sad. Once again, you show yourself to be nothing but an ignorant bigot.
+Jane Frizzell Jane Thanks. I know its hard for anyone to stand up and voice their opinion. good or bad i respect that. my objective was to be the devils advocate in what could be a not so good end result for someone else. im sure that video will never make it to utube.
+Nick Campbell little nicky, Wow putting a styrofoam cup on the child's head will make all the difference in the world ! You should have said that!! Message to all the irresponsible parents out there putting your child in a situation that could go south as long as you have a styrofoam helmet on your all set! Great Brian Williams segment on the nightly news! (If he comes back)! Being a responsible Adult is narrow minded! Little Nicky Remember Make sure your Bags are packed when Hale bop shows up again.Nick Now that I know a styrofoam helmet is so effective i'm Bringing my 9 year old for the running of the Bulls in spain because i think the emotional connection is so important between children and pissed off 4000 pound bulls! maybe i can bring a school bus of other 9 year olds that want emotional connections!!
I agree with you when you say the kid needs a hard hat, Jane. But, otherwise I have no problem whatsoever with this situation. Unlike some other narrow minded people who have commented on this video previously.
+Brian Jarvis +Machru Yes on what you guys are saying. It is too big a risk with the horse -- no halter? the kid no hard-hat? Let us be sober and circumspect with loose horses and unpredictable humans of ANY age, whether disabled/handicapped or supposedly totally sound. Horses are dangerous. (that is a period there at the end of the statement)I am a horse professional.Brian, thank you for your service.
Little Nicky, lol!! you should grab those ears of yours and pull hard!! When you hear the popping sound that is your head popping out of your backside, my service allows gas bags like yourself to have stupid opinions and voice them as well. I hope you enjoy this freedoms that people like me provided you. Sound like a guy or girl like you would never serve your country. You should go back to watching the kardashians and enjoying the government check you get every month.
Little Nicky,Coward? My military record would differ from your opinion, Facts back my opinion and pixy delusional dust back yours up.Don't loose any sleep about what my opinion is and i want loose any sleep about yours.I will have to add a picture of me. At least i have my real name. If hictecnic is your name you drew the short straw. FYI i am a bastard, :-)
There is just no reasoning with you is there? And I notice, no profile picture either. Which makes you a coward and and a bigot all at the same time. And by the way, it's "DISABLED," you arrogant bastard.
Little Nicky, Wow! the F word! shame on you. :-) Sorry to hear that you are crippled. Hopefully it wasn't the result of a delusional pet owner. i have no issues with people with disabilities, just whack jobs who think an animal is a cure.
You obviously think I'm just some stupid cripple who knows Jack shit about life, don't you Brian Jarvis. Well fuck you. If this was my kid, I would be doing the same thing with him. Tell me, what exactly is the issue you have against people with disabilities??
+Machru Thank you. I have seen an read to many stories of kids and adults getting killed or hurt from pets!, there is so many other things you can do for this child rather than sticking this child in a hourse pen. This story is not about the child its about the ego and delusions of a pet owner. I know alot of horse owners that have been thrown and have had there back broken, kicked in the face or body, the list is endless. We need to start handing out long jail sentences to pet owners whose pets hurt or kill people.
Hictecnic - you seem too stupid and rude for me to bother much. Why can't you ask in a civil manner? I am a professional when it comes to horses, and have people close to me who have various disabilities, both physically and mentally, so don't even go there. You are focusing wrong; it's not about the boy, but about the adult who is willing to take that chance.Rest in peace, my friend, you are not the only one who'¨s going to read this exchange of words.
Are you a kill joy, or what?? Or are you one of those ignoramuses who has an issue with someone who has a disability enjoying life?? Tell me, I'm curious.
Brian Jarvis - I must admit I have mixed feelings about it, and was thinking when I saw it: How fast can the mother reach her boy if something should go wrong... It's a lovely story but for me - too reckless. So, yes, I agree with you.
