Robert Culp - Promotional interview for the 1964 film RHINO!
Part of the promotional material for the 1964 film RHINO! this recorded interview of Robert Culp could be played on local radio stations either in its original format ...
This ABC-TV series from Four Star, was indeed, great and rare! this was the
mid 1960s,
when 007 ruled the Box Office-and this series was certainly a result of
that big spy craze!
ABC sure took a gamble on this show, since it was based on their "BURKE'S
LAW" series that they launched in Fall 1963. but the people, like the guest
stars of this episode, were all "cream of the crop" actors! first, there is
Michael Dunn, who later became "Dr Loveless" on CBS's "THE WILD,WILD
WEST"-great talent! then there is
Francine Nuyen, the one time wife of "I SPY" star Robert Culp, who has
credits going back to "SOUTH PACIFIC"-and there is also Mako, one of the
finest Japanese American actors of them all-outstanding talent! this was
what the acting business was
about, back in those days! and we have J Pat O'Malley, another fine
charecter actor,who
did hundreds of roles over the years. and one of the women in the
background certainly
looks like Bob Crane's future wife-an interesting collection of actors,in a
rare TV series!
unless i'm mistaken,CBS rivived the show, back in the mid 1990s-that's how
good it was!
+joe hill Hi, brother, nice to know that there are others out there who still appreciate real actors and actresses. The 1960's were a kind of Golden Age in many ways despite the social problems of the time. Blesséd be.
