I had the dealer install them and the fuel processor and k&n filter all at
the same time so they could tune it properly.. My dealer charged me $125 to
istall and tune everything so I dont think it tool more then 2 hours for
the whole job
I got it off ebay and had it shipped I dont honestly remember if it had a
brand name but its kind of old fashioned but was under $200 unlike the ones
you can get from a Suzuki dealer
i have the 2005 model and looking to buy these pipes. Were they easy to
install? Any issues or extra work you needed to do? Fantastic sound
especially compared with your stock video.
Stebel Nautilus Compact air horn fitted to my 2011 Suzuki Boulevard 50 as I found the standard horn too quiet. Just make sure it is wired directly to the battery ...
Indeed I was wanting a 109r. Imho I believe it is one of the best bikes out
there in terms of muscle cruisers. But I opted for the yamaha r1 for my
speed fix. I do plan on turning my m50 into a bobber. The reliability of
these Suzuki bikes has made me a huge fan and I intend on keeping it till
my last days. Cheers and safe riding down unda
Agreed, that is why I changed my response :-) This M50 is a great bike but
I found that it needed another gear for highway/freeway use as it revs too
high in 5th. That is the main reason I bought an M109R which is an amazing
bike with far more accessories available. At 6"2 it was also a bit small.
Lol, true! Yes after I rewatched the video I did notice it was a little bit
smaller than the 109r. Still very good bikes and a good bang for the buck.
Also, next time someone comments please be sure to take everything with a
grain of salt. Not everybody is rude on the internet.
Hi, it is the M50 sold in Australia, Mexico, Canada and I believe parts of
Europe. If you do a google search you will find it. I now have an M109
which has a different headlight cowl and is much bigger. I presume that you
are in America where this model isn't sold - yet?
Greetings! Did you have to fabricate some sort of bracket for the horn to
mount on?? I'm looking to install my horn in the same place but don't want
to come across any surprises during installation. Thanks in advance
I did not video the entire tear down. Just trial and error. But I did get the air filter changed. A very good thing to do, is draw a diagram of each side what screws ...
A buddy of mine told me that the dealer wanted a few hundred bucks to
change the a/c. Now I know why. What the heck was Honda thinking? I hope it
all went back together well.
+NC Stoney A few hundred may be worth it. I was worried it woiuld be allot more than that near me. It is the design of the flat 6. that makes it hard to get at the air filter.
I think I can do it faster the 2nd time. It is crazy that the screws are all different lengths and sizes, some are fat and some are thin. I get it all assembled and then the darn little clip kind of thing is missing that the screw go into. I did finally get it all together. Next time label each screw, tape and label each wire to connector.
+Jim Motor Trike Razor (Jim's Motor Trike) I thought it was due about 40k for change. I'm probably gonna bite the bullet...work some OT and pay the dealer when it comes time!! And my luck I'd screw something up putting it back together!! I'm better riding a bike, making photos/videos than working on Bikes!!
I had 26,500 and it was was not very dirty at all. Not worth the trouble for sure. Now I cannot get my voltage and air meter working. Argh! Always so many other issues pop up.
