The black color is permanent, since they're featured on some of the now "re-powered" Neoplans Once all the Neoplans are re-powered sometime in 2013, the 2004-05 "D40LFs" will be retrofitted in the interior and possibly in the new "wave" decal-scheme on the exterior. 2006 "DE40LFRs" will retrofitted as well into an "express" retro-fixation. By 2014-15, Light Rail will be retrofitted to similar features as the Metro Subway. Any new hybrid-buses; for the time being, is to only replace the NABIs.

I saw 12051 and 12052 inside of Kirk Ave so I think it wont be long until Kirks 12000s are released into service. I hope they keep the black seats on future orders. I know the 02 order came with gray seats then the 04-11 orders were back to blue and the 04-06s had blue floors which I suspect MTA always does with the first order from EVERY manufacturer then the second and up is back to black floors.

The newest Cummins ISL9 engines sound like grumbling monsters, from the Cummins ISB or ISBe (for you guys). Sorry if the camera was bugging out throughout the video, I found out that my finger was over the microphone making it sketchy, but understand it was a wind chill in the bus as well.
