u r totally right, but US and rest of the western countries told us a history, if you r too weak to protect urself, the peace won't come to you, even you don't want to fight. to learn this lesson, we paid hundred millions of human lives and hundred billions of money as a tuition in last two hundred years.

When did China have a navy that really meant anything - 1965? Who have they fought - nobody. Since then they bought an aircraft carrier hull at a garage sale. They better hope America does not let the Pacific pit bull off the chain - Japan. Surrounded by US interests Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Phillipines, Xin Jaung, Tibet - they try top convice their own people they are strong.

The Chinese did use their navy in the 1954-1955 Taiwan strait crisis and they also used their navy for a small conflict against Vietnam. China also has a really superior army, navy and air force. You don't know how strong they are.

wtf?? why aren't meteorologists all over at news stations saying something most bizarr is happening with the weather. like, they study the pattern and natural formations of clouds and weather systems, and most of all should know full well about nexrad and haarp stations. crazy stuff...and it makes me sooo angry i could go and tear the place down with my hammer!

+Speedbird they didn't identify themselves properly. In order to ask another A/C to leave, you have to identify yourself and need to have legal authority over that airspace. Chinese didn't have that authority...obviously.

So enjoyable reading all the comments from these arrogant Americans offending other people because they don't speak proper english and defining "unprofessional" the reaction of the Chinese navy, without having the minimal idea on how chinese navy and coast guard operate. I don't see any lack of professionalism from the Chinese side, I actually see an initial polite verbal approach to an aircraft that was MAYBE getting too close to the national border and I also see an American pilot not asking any clarification whatsoever, just stating that he's right. who's the unprofessional now.
