@gamevidz231 the desire fits perfectly in your hand. I have one and my mum and brother both have I phones and the size difference is not that different. The Desire has a little bit bigger screen and you can download: videos, pictures, movies, music, apps (for free), and much more straight to the desire without having to run it through itunes or anything so if your one of those people who are like: "I want that song" you can just download it on the spot straight to your phone! LISTEN: im no HTC fan boy i was a nokia loyal and still am well when lumia 900 comes out:) But the htc desire is the best phone i have ever used apart from its average battery life, it does so so so many things and does them with sheer speed and ease, i can talk to it, it translates for me, typing is lag free and speedy, i watch you tube on it , fb, all the apps i need under the sun, i talk and it types text messages for me, its an awesome phone and thats why it got 5 stars in may reviews.

@Deans29 You like games.. get mario bros, Killer instinct, NBA Hangtime etc on the SNES/N64 emulator - for free! maybe get angry birds for free? No Jailbreaking required.. and oh yes.. there is thing called flash.. I JUSt came from the iP4 and it was a great all-round phone, I jailbroke mine to get it to do things and it was fine. But the Desire has flash, feels great in your hand as well and does EVERYTHING. Lastly I really like the HTC screen better. Check it yourself..

What the hell are you doing to the Desire? I've downloaded alot of apps, and a couple launchers, and went back and forth between the launchers. The only thing that sucks for the Desire is the 30min battery life (exaggeration). The customization of Android....Well, the Iphone can't even touch that unless you jailbreak it. I'm sticking with android. Although, the iphone 4s looks pretty cool, I like the addition of Siri. She seems very useful.

Htc desire is a way better phone on so many levels. This proves that the iphone is not perfect. Bith phonea have negative and positives. But the desire is a better phone overall since it has htc sense ui amd android os you can do more real computer operations with the desire. Ios is very limited. if it wasnt for the app developers and tons of advertising the iphone wouldnt be sh*t. These videos proves the iphone is over priced.

flash support ?? You should know what I'm talking about. If you don't, you probably have an iPhone. Browsing around Youtube the other night with my sister and brother in law, who both have Iphone4's and me with my Desire, half of the clips they couldn't watch because of no flash support. There is not a single clip I can't watch on my HTC.

Go for the iPhone 4/iPhone 4S instead of the shitty Desire. iPhone 4s peformances is much faster and better, but the desire always crashses, only in the begining it works faster but it crashses when u download simple apps and I have a htc desire and it is CRAP om going for the iphone fuck andriod u cant trust on their phones.

@SOF006 I looked at the review at the gsm arena and they said that it shoots video at 15 fps and they had the actual phone. But they had a version with android 2.1, maybe this is changed in 2.2 i don't know, i'm just asking.

I think the HTC is good as my friend has one but the iPhone is for me as I do like games and the it's easy for me to do that on my iPhone also the music, it's just my suiting but I know some people may like the HTC better :)

desire is like almost a year old and is still putting up a decent fight to the iphone 4 it is truly an amazing phone! HTC proves with this phone that they are quite capable of building some of the best smartphones.

Actually in desire you have 5 keys - buttons on front. back & search just look like one, the fifth is the optical-ball - you can press it. 1 Giga HAIR (??) processor(...) - haha :)

Niemals würde ich mein iPhone 4 gegen das Samsung Galaxy S3 eintauschen. Allein schon iOS ist für mich die schönste Benutzeroberfläche für Smartphones. Auch gefallen mir Apples Ideen neuer Produkte sehr. Samsung dagegen ist für mich ein asiatisches Unternehmen, was mit dem Erfolg von Apple mitzuhalten versucht. Trotzdem ist es für mich auch kein Problem, dass sich manche Leute lieber ein Samsung Handy kaufen. Alles hat Vor- und Nachteile. ;-) Grüße, Tim

@maxi01105970 Das Video hat schon einen Sinn. Es geht darum, ob es sich lohnt ein iPhone 4 für viel mehr Geld, als das HTC Desire S (welches in einigen Punkten sogar ein bisschen besser ist) zu kaufen. Es ist also lediglich ein Vergleich der Features und nicht zwischen den besten Smartphones, die zurzeit den Markt dominieren. ;-) Grüße, Tim

Ich bin ein absoluter Android-Fan. Ich habe auch das Desire S. Aber ich muss trotzdem sagen, dann manche Dinge am iPhone besser sind als an Android-Phones. Dennoch denke ich, ich werde bei Android-Phones bleiben, obwohl ich auch mal gerne ein iPhone haben würde. JEDES Handy hat Vor- und Nachteile ;)

Das würde ich gar nicht so sagen. Ich denke, iOS ist für "Smartphone-Neueinsteiger" um einiges besser geeignet, als Android. Das liegt daran, dass iOS simpler aufgebaut ist und bei weitem nicht so einen großen Funktionsumfang hat, wie Android.

Also das mit dem Market ist ein bisschen übertrieben. Ich konnte bis jetzt jedes app runterladen. Und ausserdem gibt es ca. 80% aller apps aus dem appstore auch im market! ;) Mach doch bitte mal einen vergleich mit dem Samsung Galaxy S2!!!

Apple hat bei iOS 5 von Android abgekupfert. Die Statusbar war schon bein Android zuvor. Android 4.0.4 ist finde ich besser als iOS 5. Würdest du dein iPhone 4 mit einem Samsung Galaxy S3 eintauschen?
