im buying one today or tomorrow. i would say buy one now. its an amazing device. very useful. the ipad mini is coming soon, but that wont be better than the current one, itllbe just like a watered down version of the current one and smaller in size. the next real ipad will come in march or something next year..so still some time.

I'm a graphic artist by trade, and whether exploring an idea or sketching for a client the 4GLTe speed comes in handy (I have it in San Francisco City with AT&T). I imagine it might be the same for architects, mechanical or aerospace engineers, or anyone else who deals with visual ideas on a frequent basis

700$ is a lot of mother fucking money. I don't care who you say you are, I'm 17 and moved out of home to get a job to help my mom and dad pay off their bills. And people say "It's only 700$.", you buy stuff you don't need, with money you don't have, to impress people you don't like.

Wait for the next one. If u buy it is like buying the iPhone 4s even though you have an iPhone 4. Both new and old models are the same. The newer one is actually fatter, and overheats like crazy. In conclusion just wait for the new iPad of 2013.

Maybe he is but remember, he only spent $400 more to get this model iPad rather than the cheapest. When your an adult thats like a couple days worth of your salary. Its not like he bought a 10 million dollar mansion. :)

If recommend the black one because the white iPad gets yellowish after a while and not in a pretty yellow way. And black is way better for watching video's on it. I have the black one.
