Thank you so much you just earned a sub, fav and a like. Thank you so much
I can even run everything on ultra! I do also have a question, do you think
this would work with the worst mod? I want to get better textures and I
have enough computer power to run this 1.5 times.... I just don't want to
go back to 15 fps just because this game is a fucking bad pc port. Thanks
again if you could respond that would be great!

All Things Mobile- A Brief overview of the BlackBerry Curve 9360. The Curve 9360/9350/9370 is an update to the Curve 9300. It offers increased specs such as ...
Worst phone I have ever had. The trackpad freezes all the time, the lock
button takes forever to unlock the phone, the headphone jack is faulty, the
keyboard is completely faulty and does not work correctly. It is a nice
looking phone! But isnt reliable as I felt it could break any minute. Good
points about the phone are its camera and volume. The speakers are very
loud , louder then any iOS iPhone on the market. It's camera is sometimes
better than the iOS iPhone, depending on what angle you t
@iTekGeniusBar To save RAM, what we do on BlackBerry's (Any model of
BlackBerry) is when we hold the BlackBerry Menu key (In between the call
button and trackpad/Left of Trackpad) and that brings up all the apps that
are currently running. To close an app we simply press the BlackBerry Menu
key and select the option "Close or Exit" (Depending on the App) we can
close an app as soon as we are done with it by doing the same thing,
similarly if you notice an app running, hold down the BlackBerry
He probably isn't using the latest OS or rebooting every couple of days or
so. Also, check to make sure he is not saving to the internal memory but
rather the MicroSD card. The 9900 has 8 GB of built in internal memory so
that should be enough for day to day use. I would recommend you wait
though. BlackBerry 10 will be released later this year and that will
definitely be a much better investment as it will solve a lot of problems
with the current BlackBerry OS, such as the low number of apps
It really depends on your carrier, here in Canada, Mobile Hotspot is
considered tethering, pretty much all the new plans with the major carriers
here in Canada include tethering. So using the same example, if I had 2 GB
of data as my monthly limit, I could use mobile hotspot, use my 3G on my
phone etc. as long as I don't pass that 2 GB limit over all. I know in the
US they charge quite a bit extra for tethering/mobile hotspot. Best bet is
to call your provider and see what they say :)
Depends on what you mean by downgrade. You can see for yourself it the
Curve 9360 is slow or not from my videos :). I've posted quite a few about
the Curve 9360 features. Personally my 9360 hasn't been slow for the most
part. Give it a quick reboot once a week or so and it's good. Also Android
has a lot of overhead. BlackBerry OS and Windows Phone Mobile don't have a
lot of overhead so they tend to remain relatively smooth in terms of
performance.
To all you guys out there, saying that the battery life of this phone
sucks, yes it does. I'm not gonna lie to you, BUT, there is a way for you
to save a whole big amount of battery life. Just do the following: *go to
OPTIONS, DEVICE and LOCATION SETTINGS where you can turn off the GPS
settings. Trust me, this really works. It saved more than half of my batt
life. I have mine for a day and a half. Hope I was able to help you guys
out. :)
Go for the 9900 if you can, more RAM, faster processor and larger
screen+touchscreen might make it a better experience for you. Although if
you want the smaller form factor then the Curve is the way to go. I don't
recommend the Bold 9780 at all because BlackBerry 6 is not the latest
offering from RIM. Both the Curve 9360 and Bold 9900 offer BlackBerry 7.1
which has quite a bit more features than BlackBerry 6 on the Bold 9780
Curve 9360 but I'd rather go for the BlackBerry Z10, although if you don't
want to wait for the Q10 (Keyboard version of the Z10) I highly recommend
the Bold 9900 as that phone's battery will last you the whole day. Curve
9320 will last you the whole day too but then again the Bold 9900 is a much
nicer phone than the Curve devices. Unless you go for the Z10, which is
BlackBerry's current highest end offer.
Nope, if you lock the phone the keys won't do anything. Chances are that
the phone you were using was that the standby button that locks the screen
would be activated a bit too easily, at least that's what I can guess
happened. Anyways on this device when you lock the screen with the button
at the top the keys are deactivated until you unlock the screen with the
same button at the top, hope it helps :)
You should probably consider two different models, The Curve 9360 is now
getting a bit old, it doesn't really compare to the higher end models like
the 9900 and definitely not the new BlackBerry Z10 device. Although if you
really had to choose between these two devices, the Samsung Axiom is the
better choice. If you're not too restricted on budget, you can also check
out some of the newer devices.
Well normally I'd recommend that anyone wanting to get a new blackberry
wait for BlackBerry 10 but in your case I'd say pick up the Curve 9360, it
can be found for a reasonable price, update it to the latest OS and you'll
be pretty content with it. There were some newer curves launched but they
aren't the same as the 9360. The 9360 is the highest end curve from the
blackberry 7 curve selection
honestly, has a brilliant colors, it's quick to take pics, and is a great
phone, but batery craps, if u use it in 3G, in five hours, dies, !! but in
2g maybe during along the day, but you must update to OS 7.1, and then, u
obtained radio, and another new things, great, phone, but i recommend you
BB 9900 !! this is an amazing phone, better than this,... !!
@AllThingsMobileINC Key, select the app, the app will open, press the
BlackBerry Menu key and scroll down to "Close or Exit" (Depending on the
app) No extra apps are required because fully closing apps is supported by
the operating system natively. Like any smartphone, make sure you reboot
the phone every few days, it keeps it running more optimally.
Exactly the same :) the latest version of BBM runs on BlackBerry OS 5.0
devices, BlackBerry 6 and BlackBerry 7 devices :). It'll all look the same,
as well as the new features included in the latest versions of BBM are
still in BlackBerry OS 5.0 and later, so if you have a BlackBerry OS 5.0
handset you aren't missing out at least in regards to BBM :)
Normally I wouldn't actually recommend buying a BlackBerry right this
minute, but since BlackBerry 10 won't be out until Q1 2013 I'd say go with
something like the Curve 9360 which won't set you back too much and if you
like the BlackBerry experience you can have a much more enjoyable
experience with BlackBerry 10 once that hits the market.
This particular Curve model outperforms all the Bold models except the Bold
9790 and Bold 9900. Although this is a handset which is now being phased
out. The BlackBerry Q5 (Announced at BlackBerry Live yesterday) is the new
BlackBerry Curve replacement featuring much better hardware and the latest
BlackBerry 10.1 operating system.
Hey there, there is one advantage to the HTC radar camera. It has auto
focus. As well as the phone has a 1 GHz processor. The auto focus comes in
handy for close up and macro photos. But if this is strictly a camera
comparison I would go for the HTC because auto focus can really help
sometimes. Hope that helps :)
Thanks :), hope you enjoy your new BlackBerry Curve 9360 when you get it
:). Be sure to upgrade the OS to BlackBerry 7.1 when you do get it (depends
on when the store received their shipment the OS may still be BlackBerry
7), Leave a comment or PM if you need any help. Glad this video helped you
out :)
i have a BlackBerry curve 8520 i had 2 of them and right now i'm using my
3rd one i had 2 Blacks and now i just got a new one in march i'm using a
white one (OS 5.0) do you think i should sell my new one and Buy this one?
my father is using the Bold 9900 and it lags allot...
hi i wanted to know if the camera really makes big deference from your
point of view with other phones i have two either pick the htc radar or the
blackberry 9360 idk what to pick and honestly if the camera doesn't really
make a deference then i shall buy the bb
No worries :) Well I don't really know about the games too much, at least
not on the BlackBerry OS for smartphones. I'm sure you'll be able to find
something but the BlackBerry Tablet/PlayBook OS and the upcoming BlackBerry
10 platform are great for gaming.
Enjoy this phone! I promise you'll love it. Just try not to add too many
groups on BBM. Just turn off your GPS, especially if you're not using it.
It has a very small and portable charger that you can take with you, just
in case. Enjoy! :)
Yes, this phone has no issues holding reception. We are a Canadian based
organization and I use this phone as my personal phone. I have never
dropped a call or lost data connection here in the GTA even when
downloading large files.
Thank you :), Yeah I just noticed that x_x. Are you familiar with BBM? Next
time I review a BlackBerry smartphone I'll be sure to definitely show one
of the main attractions, BBM of course :D Glad you liked it and thanks
again :)
Awesome review man. I'm getting this phone in 2 weeks and at first i had my
doubts but thanks to your video, they're all gone now. Keep up the good
work and i'm looking forward to getting my hands on this now :)
Hi, I just want to ask if hows your BB9360? Because i'm planning to buy
that soon, but I heard the battery is not good and it last for 4 to 5hrs
only, is that true??? please reply. Thanks in advance. =))
Overkill: 16GB ram in a Macbook Pro
Note: This computer is now a lot older than when the video was originally recorded. Many things have changed from MacOSX having more features, to larger ...
I use Matlab as an Engineer and 4GB on my Macbook pro did not cut it. After
investigating apple supports only 8GB, people can actually install 16 and
it will read 16GB. Why not get 16GB to make it more future friendly?
Hey @prelucid, do you have any trouble with overheating? I have an 8gb and
it overheated when I run one game. Do you or anyone recommend 16 gb of ram
and would it have the same issue?
+L Cha My research says that those models have an "optional" GeForce GT 750M. I'm guessing that means you could have chosen to get it or not, and I think it would have made the difference in terms of gaming. I've set my fans to blow high all the time. I expect my MBP to start failing soon as people indicate it is more likely to fail in 3 years of constant use, but I've been taking good care of it as well, so who knows. Kind of wish Apple followed an older philosophy where things could be manually upgraded, because a lot of people had to make a hard decision regarding your model whether to get memory/hard drive upgrades or to get the dedicated graphics card.
+Prelucid I have the late 2013 15" retina pro. I lowered the res and open it's ventilation surroundings but the fan still kicked on. After a while of that and it going into sleep mode I just turned it off. I'm going to try and run the fan apps. My bros 2011 15" still runs fine after all of the mess it's been through.
+L Cha What model is yours? Does it have a good graphics card? Mine is from 2011, and was the best MBP you could get at the time (specs in the description). Decent enough when I made the video, only a year old with a mid-tier gfx card, but it stopped cutting it after newer games came out and now it's 3+ years old. Some games are just not running on optimized engines as well (like Darksiders 2 was a bad PC port), so while you can get decent performance out of some games that even look better, others just have higher requirements. You could try lowering the graphics settings + resolution, but also remember to use those fan apps and keep the mac ventilated by not obstructing the back or putting it on a cushioned surface.
Yeah I was just wondering +Prelucid because my mbp went to sleep after overheating. I bought it brand new and only had it for nearly a year. I researched a lot about mac gaming before I purchased a game off of the app store and was really disappointed at how my mbp performed when gaming. I still love my mac but I want more than just an expensive workhorse. I was thinking of selling my mac and upgrading to 16gb of ram if that helped with gaming.
If you run a game, the Macbook can go up to 90 degrees (it can handle it), especially if the macbook is older. You might want to try running at a lower resolution if it's an older macbook. Another reason your Macbook might be heating up is if your power cable is no good. It might not be drawing enough power and so the battery might be slowly discharging, while the adapter is drawing more current. -- In addition it is always good to keep the fans running high using a program like smcFanControl (OSX) or Lubbos (Windows). This will help ventilate the Mac and tell you the temperature it runs at. OSX tends to throttle the CPU when it gets too hot, in order to save your system. Windows doesn't, so overheating causes your mac to reset or go to sleep in Windows. Memory doesn't really help with heat unless you're caching a lot of info on a traditional hard drive, which is unlikely.
ah okay, I hope they make a parallels version that runs on yosemite, I mean, yosemite is better than mavericks. And mavericks probably better than Lion (on mavericks it did run well)
