3DR IRIS+ Follow Me and Auto Mission Demo
Adam from //www.aeroworksproductions.com shows how to use the "Follow Me" flight feature on the new IRIS+ from 3D Robotics using a Pebble watch and ...
+Aeroworks Productions thanks for replying, i'm really about to buy one of these but in the video something happens, and it concerned me. about 4 people asked about it and you didnt reply to any one that asked. we were watching the waypoint flying autonomously. all of a sudden it looked like it went way farther than a waypoint and may have been crashing, then the video edited and then it was close to you again, and then you went to land, and then it was about to land 15feet over and was about to fall off of the roof and the guy manually had to fly it back to the roof. i wish you would have explained what happened, and if you lost control. i will be doing search and rescue with autonomous missions and it has to be very dependable, lives count on it.
+OrionDenali Checkout our X-8 in one of our other recent videos or on our Facebook page by searching for Aeroworks Productions. There have been several improvements since we shot this follow me segment.
+AKRCGUY I was giving this some thought and it occurred to me that I can use my iPhone as a "WiFi Hotspot" for the Nexus to connect to in the field, thus offering connectivity in a pinch (assuming of course, you're in an area with cell service).
No, neither need cell service although handy on the tablet in you are in the field and want to download maps. You can also download the maps ahead of time or cache them for use offline. The pebble watch connects to the tablet via bluetooth and replicates what ever your tablet is doing in regards to Droidplanner.
+Diana Champion Ok, you need to go to the below link. From your android device (with your pebble connected), at the bottom of the page you need to click on the blue link in the sentence "That link is dead now. Use this one instead." Its the word "this" that has the link. It worked for me. Hope it works for you. https://github.com/DroidPlanner/droidplanner/issues/1339
+Diana ChampionDid you ever figure out how to remedy this? I am having the same issue with the message "Failed to copy pbw asset" when I try to load it to my pebble.
+Diana Champion Make sure you have your bluetooth ON the tablet and that you are connected to your pebble before you do anything with the IRIS. If you are using the cable that came with your IRIS and telemetry radios then you would use the USB connection.
+AKRCGUY I have got droid planner on my tablet and when I go into update Pebble it says "Failed to copy pbw asset" ! Also under Telemetry Connection Type should I have USB, TCP, UDP or BLUETOOTH checked? Sorry for all the questions but I'm a newby to all this..Thanks
Hi Diana, You have to load Droid planner on your Tablet, connect your Pebble to your tablet, then from the settings menu within Droid Planner you send the app to the Pebble.
nice accents. Glad the twat nav didn't guide them into a river as they have
with others. Then they might have said "the road is very wet here, perhaps
they do have hard rain in England after all". Only joking
+daro2096 There are plenty of Automatics in the UK. From what I can hear the car they were driving was.
INTENSIVE NOTEBLOCK UNIT
This song is by Renard - I didn't write it. download the custom noteblock pack here: //dl.dropbox.com/u/30971344/note.zip I edited the minecraft sound files ...
+Warren Cook wut? It's standard 4/4 timing, just count 1-2-3-4 and you'll end up on the 1st beat of each measure. Minecraft isn't complex enough to support a 1/14 beat as it relies on repeaters that work in intervals that are factors of 2 to the 20 ticks per second event cycle limit in the game.
Oh my god. This must have taken at least a year to create! I lost it when
the beat started playing. You just earned a sub just for this video alone.
Also, you should edit out the intro and post this to iTunes, just so I can
pay $1.29 for this amazing video/song.
(Not say too much but,) you sir are the best Minecrafter I have ever seen.
You took the opportunity to take this pixelated game that (in my opinion,
is very amazing in itself) and bend the very wall that most (if not all) of
the average gamers will ever be able reach in their lifetimes. That wall
was the boundary between using Minecraft as a game and using it as a $200
song editing program.
I have to congratulate you for creating this amazing remix of a very
popular song in a very popular game. Good Job.
*Drops mic and checks to see if it is in fact on iTunes*
+Gabe Codorniz The text and font that makes up your comment was generated by a computer... good luck trying to get it there without a person to intelligently instruct it :) So to correct you a bit, it wasn't generated by a computer, the song was generated by me and put into minecraft with the aid of a computer as a tool. I transcribe every noteblock song I've done note by note by ear, the computer just helps me put down blocks...
