Multiple Sclerosis No Match for TOOTSIE Actress Teri Garr
Teri Garr talks with James Michael Tyler about SPEEDBUMPS, her personal memoirs that detail her illustrious Hollywood career and her inspirational struggle to ...
although on the out side Teri was gifted with Beauty, Her condition has
made her a far better human than where she was before, Of course illness we
all would like to do with out, some have far greater problems than others.
I'm thankful to had read some of what she is been doing to deal with her
personal battle's, helping others to coup, lifting people up.
More over it is inspiring to me. I been bucking cancer for a number of
years, My problems are nothing at all when sized up to what Teri & others
deal with.
God Bless You Mr. Carr.
@Ariamaluum PS: She also eluded as to where she was actually born. I
thought it may be Lakewood Ohio where I used to live for fifteen years. Her
aunt lived in Lakewood. I would like to know her addy or at least the
street where their house was. I also lived near Drew Carey , we were about
the same age, and he grew up just a couple of miles from where I grew up in
Parma Ohio. I read his book, and he hung out in places we did back in the
60s. Teri lived in Lakewood during the early 50s.
@linsandful that's right!!! ATTENTION: ANN ROMNEY, NEIL CAVUTO, Teri

about CHRONIC CEREBROSPINAL VASCULAR INSUFFICIENCY ( CCSVI ) ...ANGIOPLASTY
for compromised Veins in MS patients ...many 'liberated' via Dr. Zamboni's
exciting discovery have showed Remarkable recovery from MS symptoms--
google : 'Paolo Zamboni MD' CCSVI 'LIBERATION TREATMENT PLEASE HELP MS
SUFFERS EVERYWHERE!!
There is now a Reformed Multiple Sclerosis Society that is urging for the
medical community to check out Dr Paolo Zamboni's discovery that MS is
caused by poor blood drainage from the brain. The answer to restore this
blood drainage from the brain is angioplasty. Watch the before & afters for
this surgery called CCSVI on youtube- simply amazing. In just 24 hours a
world of difference. Standing on one foot eyes closed in just 24 hours!
Some pretty good name-dropping going on there. How she wound up staying at
Mama Cass' place would make a good story all by itself. When I heard her
say how John invited her to roll around town with him, I was cringing in
fear that she told him, "No, I'm too tired" or something like that, which
is how it so often plays out in real life.
Bollocks. If it was that simple, it would have been solved long ago.
There's lots of research that points at both genetic AND environmental
factors. There may be a Vitamin D connection, sure, but fungus? WTF? Look
up FTY720 - a fungus derivative is the next big MS therapy. Vaccines?
Sheesh ...
I'm going to look it up. I have spoke with woman that has had MS. I had
hoped she explained more here. She was an awesome actor even though she
felt she had some let downs. Guess in that business, it can be just like
normal life of any interview. Don't accept NO. Keep going!
Um reading SPEED BUMPS now = great read! Terri does not give her bitdhday
in it. My guess is that she is around 67 or so, perhaps born in 1944-45? I
like to read autobiography, and her's is one of my faves, just can't put
the book down for very long.
Terri is an inspiration for anyone. Looking back now, that little part she
had in Dumb and Dumber, I see now the symptoms of MS she was masking with
medicine. It shows in her on the screen. What a fighter. You gotta love
this woman.
Ms. Garr, if you read this you are in my prayers. I have enjoyed your
acting ever since I first saw you on Star Trek. Your body of work speaks
volumes about your personal strength and diverse acting skills. I wish for
you the best!
I love Teri Garr so much. She is a tremendously talented and accomplished
actress and comedienne. Such a positive woman with a fantastic and unique
sense of humor. I wish her nothing but happiness, love, and contentment.
Teri I've loved you since I saw you first in Frankenstein Junior. You're
awesome and nothing can hide your talent and beauty. Many thanks for lots
of wonderful moments. Wish you all the best. Your biggest danish fan.
Teri (I can use her first name 'cause I did a Diet Pepsi commercial with
her) She's so rare, she can be sexy and funny . An Emmy to whoever cast her
as Lisa Kurdrow's mother in 'Friends'.
when I was a kid she was like a smiley person. My mom was out the door to
go to the sticky wicket to meet with some drunks and jews. So Terry you
were my tv mom and mom you are my hero.
She got to drive around with John?!!! Much less meet all of the Beatles?!
LUCKY woman! I hope she realizes HOW lucky! Many of us would have loved to
have been in her shoes....
It's ashame she seems to be self-conscious about her chin. Even on her book
cover. She was ALWAYS self-efacing about any weight she would put on. She's
VERY attractive now.
@Ariamaluum. Actually, she may have been born in 1943 because it was said
that she graduated from a Catholic school in 1962. Since her birthday is
December 11.
Same here, knew she was famous for something and thought her acting was
very good so checked her up. Turns out I was right, she has done shed loads
of stuff!
@umajunkcollector. I read from a source that she graduated from Magnificat
High School, a Roman Catholic School, in 1961. So, she could be 70 this
year.
