hi i have suffered from chronic neuropathic pain for 8 years ,it wips round my ribs on both sides,and center of my back,its a tight,hot tingly its like sombody is ringing a towel out,i go to the paint management clinic,i take gabapentin 600mg 4 times daily ,oxynorm imedite release 35mg 4 times daily and sodium valporate(epilim) 6 times daily 200mg fro epilepsy which is controlled..but i still have flair ups ive lost my job ....they cant do anything because its round my ribs,any advice please

im 18 and i sufferd a spine injury, now every bone in my spine and neck cracks constantley around 200 times a day, it has now spread in2 my hole body i get massive shooting pains and all the symptoms of neuropathic pain. I also get really violent chronic pain like hearing gun shots wen im trying to go to sleep and the feeling ov being punched on the back of my head i recently began suffering from major panic attacks due to the cronic pain i hypoventalate and cant get my breath at 18

I take 900 mg of Gabapentin, 300 mg Nucynta ER, and Tizanidine each day. The pain affects all aspects of my life, but not as much as all the things I can't do. I tried to return to work, but was discharged due to performance. I have trouble maintaining house work. Worse, I'm largely house bound (which robs me of nearly any social life). I think that's the worse part of chronic pain. My neuropathy is due to spinal injury.

dont worry, I'm in the same situation i have had chronic pain for almost a year now due to spinal injury and am only 18 as well, i just cant imagine living with this for the next 50yrs, i use to vomit from the flare ups i got as the pain was so intense, i find 400mg of celebrex over the day and night helps along with 100mg of lyrics, it tae away a bit of the pain

Great idea.... NOT. It doesn't cure anything, or everything. 2 word responses like that hardly provide intelligent answers that will give any credibility to the cannabis movement to win their argument. Just think about that for a while.

@davidwaine Hey, I have neuropathic pain too, not as bad as ur though but GABAPENTIN has really helped... Its for nerve pain. Ask ur doc to prescribe it.. Best wishes-3

i have it bad to, take 300 mg neurotin 3 times a day plus cymbalta 60 mg.i would be in the emergency room without.

Cookies work great!! I'm type 1 diabetic with neuropathy in my feet. I eat a cookie at night and take 1 neurontin and I have ZERO pain!! Its much more effective than taking up to 4 neurontin AND the weed helps me fall asleep and stay asleep. :)
